After a nice 13 hour drive back to Canada from Tennessee (second photo, she's extremely tired) the next day she is feeling amazing.

Havenât had time to get out much, but shot a quick lil limit this morning. Two green wings, three mallards (two hens and the youngest drake I think Iâve ever shot), one hen woodie, and a bonus Canada goose. Dunno what was going on but damn near only hens flew in this morning.

Hello all,
Our Boykin is 7 months old and still biting. I feel like she has all her adult teeth in, and I donât think itâs teething at this point. She has a puppy friend she plays with a couple times a week that is 5 months old. I was wondering when everyoneâs puppy grew out of the biting stage. Some weeks are better than others but this past week has been awful.
We hand feed train twice a day currently working on loose leash walking, we are retrieving as well because I duck and dove hunt so we have goals of her hunting but I am worried this led to some of the biting because I was naive starting out and did it with socks, and I would take it as soon as she would come back to me. We still do retrieving but it has to be with treats so she doesnât instantly go for me when back. Ignoring doesnât work, and currently I am trying to do the separate rooms trick. I guess Iâm just looking for some encouragement this will pass. Or some sign in these situations that I need professional help from a trainer to stop the biting.
Thanks

Shady is 7 months old. He can do damage like this in less than a minute. That's an expensive merino hiking T, and my SILs bra while she was dog sitting He literally found and destroyed that shirt in under a minute.

Teddy went hunting for the first time on Saturday and did great! Wasnât gun shy at all. He didnât quite understand what he was supposed to do and walked right over a couple downed birds but he loved it once I showed it to him. Definitely need to work on not mangling the bird. Heâs only 12 weeks old so my goal was really just to get him exposed and see how it felt about hunting.

It's Sunday morning. Shady woke us at 4 am and vomited up part of a peanut bag. He continued trying to vomit several more times and seemed listless so I took him to the emergency vet where he seemed to perk up and return to normal. We've been sitting in an exam room for an hour. No more vomiting since 8:30 or so. Respiration, heart rate and temp are normal. I'm thinking this is not an emergency and maybe I'll just check out. I wish someone would even just pop in to check on us so I could tell them
EDIT: Shady is fine. The vet could find nothing concerning. She said the plastic in the peanut bag could trigger excess acid and stomach upset but that he'd probably pass it just fine

(Brew) The one on the floor is him in the bathroom with me because you know?âŚthatâs far to much time apart and separation. This little guppy loves the water and I love him so much.

Sheâs so happy in this picture because she thought she was bossing around the giant warhorses at the renaissance festival

Hereâs our little Edie Brown enjoying an early boat ride âŚ. Too bad she scared all of the fish away.

My Boykin hybrid trimmed up and splooted out for the holidays. Our beloved, naughty Barnaby, who Iâve missed every single day for 7 years now. I love my 2 dogs, but itâs just nowhere near the bond I had with Barns. Will I ever stop missing him?
