As much as others and I may support legalization of certain items, please do not create threads in this subreddit requesting aide in acquiring illegal items.

Anyone know of anywhere hiring in that range? I have clean background and years of management business experience. Very well suited in many areas.

Been trying to get a sourdough starter going at home, first by trying to cultivate one naturally and the second with a dried culture. Both failed. We used water that had gone through our sink mounted water filter both times. Now that I'm trying a third time with spring water I'm finally seeing signs of life.
Is this just the fate of a sourdough baker in BG or once my culture is strong enough will it be able to overcome the chloramine that my filter isn't catching? I'm reluctant to keep gallons of spring water around just to bake bread.

I've been to two piercing shops here: The Mad Tatter and Sirens and Sailors. I was pretty disappointed with the results of 3 out of my 4 piercings that I got at The Mad Tatter (all 3 are lip piercings and have ended up crooked / uneven). I had decided that for any further piercings that I would just go to Sirens and Sailors because both piercings I got there were perfect and healed beautifully, but unfortunately they have just shut down. Does anyone have any recommendations as to a good piercing place here, or advice as to where in town i should avoid? If anyone has recommendations for piercing places in Nashville or other reasonable driving distances from here I would also love to hear those. Thank you in advance!

Visiting Bowling Green, KY today, as part of a business trip. I’ll be there until Thursday morning (10/8) and have quite a bit of filler time. What is a must do or fun place to go to while there? Thanks :) 23M

I have an appointment to get to tomorrow morning and looked at booking a Lyft in advance. Looks like they want over double what that ride would cost right now. Does anyone have experience booking daytime rides around town and if so are they pretty easy to request? I'd really rather not pay $36 for a 10 minute ride.

I’m a high school biology teacher and I’m planning a move to Bowling Green next school year. I keep perusing the job openings at WCPS but nothing seems open mid year.
Is that normal? Are there not a lot of vacancies, or do they tend to post them all at the end/beginning of the school year and come up with a Plan B if those vacancies don’t get filled?
To be fair - I’m in Louisville working in JCPS so my experience of nonstop job openings may be skewed…

I really want a job but I never hear back, or I have an interview and then never heard back. Am I looking at the wrong places or any places not doing online job postings?

I'm really considering relocating to Bowling Green from Louisville. I like the area a lot more and can actually afford a home with an acre or so in the Bowling Green area, much unlike just outside of Louisville!
I teach Special Ed (LBD) and prefer high school, followed by middle school. Is it difficult to find a position in Bowling Green? Also, currently in Louisville, any new teachers coming into a school know that very well may work a couple of months and become relocated elsewhere with all the crazy budget cuts. Is this happening in your area as well? If you teach SPED, how big are your caseloads?
As a single person, it's vital to know I have a position that will last!

Anyone know where to sell brand new Pokemon cards? Are Nashville and Louisville better?
