Collection so far minus a few. Any suggestions on what to add next?

Ever since he swung at Fredric’s head on NYR, I’ve had a bad taste in my mouth about him.

I’ll try to shorten the story as much as possible lol but basically I grew up in a strictly football family which I was never a fan of and baseball is only fun for me at the stadium so I just thought I wasn’t a sports fan and I never understood the culture around sports because I never got what was exciting about them. And I’m not gonna lie, what got me to look at hockey was Heated Rivalry lol but while I was watching the show, the hockey part of the show was starting to get really interesting for me. I started looking up the rules and how games work. After I finished the show I found myself wanting more hockey so I turned on the game that was on that night on my mom’s espn account which was the stadium series against Tampa Bay. Even though the B’s lost I absolutely fell in LOVE with them. I loved the team and the atmosphere around them so I kept watching the Bruins before I even knew an Ohio team existed (oops 🤷🏻‍♀️) and became a super fan! I actually ended up going to the game against the Jackets in Columbus in my bruins gear and was jokingly called a traitor when they asked where I was from lol but what can I say, the Bruins are killer!

Anyway, my family has a lot of traditions around football like tailgating, chili, cook outs, who-Dey chants, corn hole, etc. Traditions that turned game day into a party and something fun I looked forward to even though I couldn’t care less about how the Bengals or OSU turned out.

Now that I’m watching every Bruins game, I find myself wanting that exciting game-day-pep for the B’s at least on the Saturday games. So I’m wondering what YOUR traditions are. What are things hockey fans do before a game? What does Boston do before games? How do you and your family celebrate the B’s so my wife and I can share the joy in Ohio? Thanks for sticking with me and I can’t wait to see what makes game day special for you 💛🖤🐻🏒

Absolutely rocked him.

Good evening r/BostonBruins and welcome to the way too late GDT!

The schedulers figured that since we all love 10PM starts that they’d give us an 11PM start as a treat. How nice of them.

Charlie McAvoy returns tonight after missing the first six games of the season due to suspension.

Get your caffeine ready folks, it’s going to be a long one.

FUCK THE SHARKS!!!

Let’s fucking go!!!

Heyy! Anyone plans to get tickets to the Bruins vs Winnipeg game on Nov 25th? I would dieeee for this shirt but I’m not from the States. Would be lovely if someone, who’s not interested, would be willing to part with the shirt (for a reasonable price maybe) and then we could arrange pick up or shipping (I will be in Boston/Philly/NYC next march).
All help appreciated🙏🏻

Black & Gold LP Series VOL. 2:
Game 07 — Oct 13
@ San Jose Sharks
Cover 07

“I’m excited to be back,” McAvoy, who will make his season debut Tuesday against the San Jose Sharks, said with a smile. “It was a really long time. Long time for me. I got to go through the camp with everybody. So I guess in that capacity, it definitely did feel short and different from normal. It’s almost like ramping up to go nowhere fast.”

The Bruins went 4-2-0 while McAvoy served his suspension for slashing the Buffalo Sabres’ Zach Benson in last season’s playoffs. The alternate captain was eligible to practice with his teammates during his sitdown. He deferred to his fellow defensemen and stayed on for extra work after they left the ice.

The No. 1 defenseman was back in charge Monday.

“He wanted the guys who were playing every night to feel good. That’s just him,” coach Marco Sturm said. “Today, it was totally different. He’s back to normal. It was definitely a good practice. Good energy today — he was probably the biggest reason.”

Tax man Smitty is here too

Title: Six games in: are we finally seeing a faster, deeper Bruins team?

I've been thinking about this after our last two wins, and I'm genuinely curious to hear what everyone thinks.

Obviously, beating Utah 6-1 and Philadelphia 5-1 feels great, but what interests me more is whether we're starting to see a real change in this team's identity under Marco Sturm.

I really like the pace that guys like Minten, Khusnutdinov and Peterka are bringing. Lohrei is looking increasingly confident jumping into the play, and there's something encouraging about seeing contributions coming from different parts of the lineup rather than constantly depending on Pasta to carry the offense.

But I'm also trying not to get carried away.

We gave up 37 shots against Utah and needed Swayman to be outstanding. Against Philadelphia, we looked much more composed and held them to just 15 shots. That's quite a difference, and I'm not convinced we've completely solved our defensive issues yet.

With McAvoy returning and the California road trip coming up, I think we're about to learn a lot more about this team.

Personally, I'm cautiously optimistic. I like the energy, I like the growing confidence of our younger players, and I appreciate Sturm's willingness to experiment with his lines.

But six games are still six games.

So here's my question: what have you seen so far that makes you genuinely optimistic about this Bruins team? And what still worries you the most?

Are we witnessing the beginning of a more balanced, faster Bruins team, or do we need to see a lot more before drawing any conclusions?
