Insane hot take - but bkdk/dkbk is WAY too over hated, if no ones noticed, despite how many of us there is there's like a severe lack reddit (except for the one bkdk subreddit that i will not be linking, there's enough unwarranted ate there as it is.).

Like I've been bullied out of comment sections and social media posts for an opinion. It's not a victim x abuser ship or a dark ship. YOU can have your own personal opinions on it but please don't say things that aren't true. When it all comes down to it, it's to your apology to accept, it's Izuku's.

And as pathetic and unhealthy as it sounds, this ship is what’s giving me joy right now. You’re entirely valid to your PERSONAL opinion - just stop using shitty excuses to hate on it.

Most of us just want to be left alone, stop commenting on bkdk content. It’s genuinely hurtful to put time and effort into an edit or write a stupid fan fic and your only response is about how horrible a person you are for making it. Please stop.

Also many arguments against bkdk are false, examples :

 1 - death threats against artist,

Those legit have NEVER been proven. I’ve yet to find a singular piece of evidence for that claim. If you can genuinely find a source that shows otherwise then please ENLIGHTEN ME.

2 - swan dive scene + his bullying in general :

I actually have several different points against this,

• Artist SAID HE REGRETTED WRITING THAT LINE FOR BAKUGOU.
• He was 14, no that doesn’t make what he did better but he was still a KID, A CHILD. I feel like we forget that constantly
• Bullying ≠ torture/abuse - i think this is pretty obvious 
• HE APOLOGIZED. Once again this doesn’t change what happened at all but as someone who used to have an extremely hard time apologizing it is hard. Once again doesn’t change shit but it does matter.

3 - Kats has proven he’s cares more than enough times (these are my most major points, there are prolly tons more but im lazy.) :

• Hero suit (8 years of working btw)
• DYING WITH IZUKU’S NAME ON HIS MOUTH 
• Getting stabbed FOR Izuku 
• only one who knew One for all secret
• THE HOSPITAL SCENE (ikyk)

Let the record show i know that there's some really weird bkdk shippers but that genuinely has nothing to actually do with the ship and its dynamic, and most of us aren't like that. I'll acknowledge that we are misinformed ALOT especially with what some of us most as 'official art', but most of these kids genuinely didn't know it was edited. A large part of the mha community are kids/teenagers, including the bkdk shippers, treat them as such.

This isn't ment to turn into a giant debate, or a pity party, its more of a somewhat collective message that we shouldn't have to be yall's punching bag.

Context-

Tenya and Momo have two kids and mutually divorce but are still good friends. Tenya then marries Mei and she's trying her best to be a stepmom but the kids are having a hard time accepting her.

Mei has ran away after the birth of their daughter, thinking she’s breaking the perfect family.

Was thinking about crossover paring for Izuku when this came to mind; I don’t see it being an instant attraction for either one, but I can see them getting along as friends before they start falling for one another as they grow up, and eventually hitting it off by the 23rd World Martial Arts Tournament.

Side note, I’m honestly now thinking about how a crossover like this could work, there’s plenty of fics where Izuku is a Saiyan, gets trained by Goku, Gohan goes to U.A, have yet to see one where Izuku is transported to OG Dragon Ball, I think it could be fun.

I consider his type being supportive, kind(not necessarily nice, that’s different), and passionate, Ochako being his implied canonical partner, I think this fits pretty well, what crossover characters fit this mold in your opinion?

I have a feeling these 2 would have a very great friendship that will blossom into romance. Could you imagine Izuku as her Master?

I feel like it could, but it also just feels as though Haruhime’s whole personality would be “Deku’s girlfriend”, and that’s it.

Haruhime almost strikes me as Izuku’s type with the only thing missing being a passion of her own, but maybe that passion could be dedicating herself to her family, some people find fulfillment in life that way, and should Izuku want a family of his own, I could see this working out greatly for them.

But what are your thoughts, at the very least I can see it working out as a very sweet first love.

My next Greenlight post will probably be actual headcanons
