She's probably my favorite cartoon character on TV.

I know a lot of people seriously dig Bob's Burgers and similar shows because they capture a familiar or nostalgic family dynamic for many, but how many get the opposite enjoyment out of it?
Bob's Burgers feels like a window into a family dynamic I wasn't even sure existed. Not to claim my parents were bad people, just not nearly as involved or interested as Linda and Bob, not to mention being an only child.
Plight Before Christmas got a couple sobs outta me because I don't think any member of my family has ever been that in my corner.
Sorry if this sentiment has been addressed already; I'm pretty new to the show and was just interested in other perspectives

For me its heartbreak hotelloween, the whole episode is amazing but I hate that Linda, Teddy, and the phlebotomists bully bob into giving blood. I'm also a needle weenie and am O-, but I give blood BY MY CHOICE, no one forces or tricked me into doing it and i wouldve hated them if they had. It's awful that Teddy tricked him there so that the phlebotomists could bully him into giving blood. And that doesn't even mention that they left him there BY HIMSELF while sitting outside.

The way the show treats antagonistic characters (ie Jimmy Pesto, Tammy, sometimes Teddy, etc) is admittedly a mixed bag, although I do love the moments where the Belchers or whoever we are supposed to root for puts their foot down and puts them in their place. An interesting detail to note is that once the character stands up for themselves, the antagonist of the episode immediately backs off and actually loses their significance in their following appearances. As someone who treasures their boundaries, it is very refreshing to see and I wish there were more episodes like that.

It exists! Not the full title to match the Bob's opening sequence, but the vision is there.

Tina almost ruins the entire show for me, I can appreciate all the other characters they can be annoying at times, Linda with her singing, gene just being puerile but I just find Tina unfunny, annoying and utterly unrelatable every time she is in a scene I cringe and when she gets an episode my heart sinks. Do people actually enjoy her? What is it people enjoy? I just feel the show would be vastly improved if there simply wasn't Tina in it.
