I’m a non-technical founder with an economics background, exploring an early-stage DeFi protocol focused on multi-asset yield generation.
I’m looking for a technical co-founder who can handle the full technical stack, including frontend development, backend infrastructure, Solidity and smart contract development, ideally with hands-on experience building DeFi applications on Ethereum.
The concept involves enabling users to put different crypto assets, including ETH, USDT, USDC and potentially other tokens, to work through a protocol designed around yield generation, capital efficiency and automated risk management.
I’m currently in the research and concept development stage. I’m looking for someone who can challenge the economic assumptions, help design the technical architecture and work with me to turn the concept into a functional product.
What I bring to the table:
Economics background and economic model development
Product concept and protocol research
Tokenomics and business strategy
Documentation, market research and outreach
Long-term commitment to developing the project together
Funding and approach:
I don’t have significant upfront capital to finance a development team or a large-scale launch. The idea is to take a bootstrapping approach: start lean, build and launch a first version (V1) on Ethereum with a carefully defined scope, and begin with limited capital rather than trying to compete with established protocols from day one.
If V1 proves successful and the model demonstrates real potential, we can gradually improve and expand the protocol through V2, V3 and beyond. The long-term goal is to build a sustainable business that can finance its own development and growth through revenue generated by the protocol, rather than depending entirely on external investors.
I believe in starting small, testing assumptions, learning from real users and improving step by step. Of course, the technical architecture, security and economic feasibility need to be carefully evaluated before launching with real funds.
I’m looking for a genuine technical co-founder who wants to build something from the ground up, contribute ideas, challenge the model and share responsibility for the project's long-term direction. This is an early-stage partnership, not a paid freelance position.
I can contribute the economic model, product vision, research, documentation, business strategy and outreach. I’m looking for someone who can lead the technical side, from frontend and backend to Solidity and smart contracts.
I’m keeping some details of the model private for now, but I’m happy to discuss the concept in more detail with genuinely interested developers.
And honestly, if I were already rich, I probably wouldn’t be looking for a co-founder on Reddit. 😂
