Post vise stand
Post vise stand
Got this big vise a while back and finally “finished” the stand i designed for it. I work at a woodshop hence the timber and am super new to welding so for better or worse used this project for practice. Overall very pleased.
I may or may not add a tong or hammer holder on a later date

That came out great.. Is the tray removable? You're going to bump into that, but still awesome.

Yeah the tray is removable. I wanted to be able to rotate it around and take it off if I decided i didn’t like it or added another holder of sorts down the line

That sounds perfect. I had something similar when I started out based on 2inch trailer hitch hardware, but those being square it didn't turn like yours does. Really cool feature, and even better knowing you can swap them out like hardy tools.
