Is it just me or does this at New Street station remind you of Thunderbird 4, or have they done that on purpose lol

Best Birmingham memory you wish you could relive?
Mine would be catching the Christmas Market with friends when it felt properly magical (and less overcrowded!). What about you- what moment or place in Brum makes you most nostalgic?

18F Looking for friends
Hey everyone I’m looking for some friends at the moment. Much preferred if you are from Birmingham!
At the moment I study at University, and my hobbies are: swimming, crafting, drawing, reading, writing poems, painting and I’m really interested in fashion.
I spend some of my times reading Buddhist stories and scriptures sometimes I attend Buddhist lessons to learn Pali and Burmese history while I also complete an extra diploma to become a Buddhist monk. I go Gym and I usually do long walks weekly.
i also try to play some games such as Roblox, Fortnite, married in red, or any other games that I can try to play but I don’t mind playing board games irl such as chess, snakes and ladders or maybe even vollyball. However, I do suck at playing them
I’m looking for 18+ friends who would like to go out to ride bikes, skateboarding, hiking and maybe a fun walk across the park or town in Birmingham and explore the buzzing city and maybe sometime watch a fun movie.
so if anyone has same interests or are looking for friends DM me!!
Byee

First picture of speeding Sutton Coldfield driver, 23, who killed pensioner in 84mph crash
This is the face of a dangerous driver who ploughed his mum's car into a pensioner as he rocketed at almost three times the speed limit in Sutton Coldfield.
Killer Arjun Nijjar was driving so fast at almost 84mph his victim Douglas Draper was 'killed instantly' as he crossed Thornhill Road in Streetly - a 30mph street.
The 23-year-old was also three times the drink-drive limit when he smashed into the 79-year-old near a pelican crossing by Sutton Coldfield Golf Club's clubhouse and Sutton Park.
Uninsured driver Nijjar, of Sharrat Field, Sutton Coldfield, pleaded guilty to causing death by dangerous driving and driving with excess alcohol.
He was jailed for eight and a half years at Wolverhampton Crown Court on Tuesday, October 13.
Nijjar, who was 21 at the time, was also banned from driving for more than 10 years.

Looking for accommodation in Birmingham for our UK tour this February
Hi everyone! My name is Paris Pick, and I’m a Canadian indie-pop artist coming to the UK this February with my band, Paris Pick & The Pricks for our first-ever UK tour!
We’re looking for anyone who might be able to offer us a place to stay for a night while we’re in Birmingham. There are four of us in total, but two of us are a couple and can share a bed, so we’d only need three sleeping spots. Be it a spare room, couch, or foamies on the floor we are easy going.
We’re a respectful, quiet bunch and would be incredibly grateful for any help from the local community. As a thank-you, anyone who hosts us would get a free ticket to our show!
I’m also a graphic designer, so if you’re a local artist or musician, I’d be happy to offer a gig poster design in exchange. I’m also happy to help connect local bands with gig opportunities in Canada where I can. I totally understand that hosting a touring band is a big ask, but if anyone has a spare room, a sofa, or knows someone who might be able to help, please feel free to message me.
Thanks so much Birmingham,
We’re really looking forward to visiting your city and meeting some of the local music community!
