She would say, "(Name), by a score of 5 to 3... you are... SAFE!"
She hasn't done this in a while. Do you think it may be due to her God-bothering personality that has emerged over the last several years?
Like she thinks that's "too mean" or something?
I used to look forward to the shocked looks. 😄

See title.
In terms of competitions, I think Morgan could do pretty well. Even if there are other competition threats on the cast (I.e. Michael, Jag, Makensy), I think she stands a decent chance of winning HoH or veto pre-jury. That could help her gain power and/or influence during that stage of the game.
I'm not as sure how well she would do strategically or socially. I think a big part of why she was able to influence the decision-making was who she was aligned with. I think her pushy approach worked well when paired with someone as passive as Vince. I don't think that same approach would work as well with more assertive strategists (I.e. Tiffany, Chelsie).

I'm rewatching the season (especially the early weeks), and now that the season is over, I'm shocked at how great the editing was. I feel like even the first weeks hit upon major plot points of the season (the Crossovers' uneasy alliance, the Melodrew saga, Barrett/Drew being the rats, the Red Corner).
There was way less simple narration of challenges and announcements of alliances and strategy, and way more character-driven storytelling. As a result, we got a good feel for the personalities of all the HG's. There was also less reduction of every houseguest to a stereotype. I felt like we really saw the best and worst of everyone, the way we did in old-school BB.
A good example is Kamu. We saw how strategic he could be with throwing Red Corner under the bus when Lala became HoH. But we also saw the Tea Party and how cruel he could be ... No one got a golden edit in that the person on the feeds was completely different than the edit. No one was villainized on the edit either. Everyone was pretty much what you saw on the feeds.
I also think that this cast gave way above-average DR's. Even the "duds" like Chuk gave amusing DR's. Taylor was fairly low-key especially early on in the game, but her DR's were hilarious. Her DR about Chuk's brand of "campaigning" made me laugh myself silly. The HG's really talked about their experiences in the DR's, instead of the force-fed one-liners.
Did they just get different editors this season?

Im shocked this hasnt been asked here yet, but now that BB28 has concluded, do you guys think BB28 was an improvement from BB27 in terms of the episodes and live feeds?

Just started BB10 as my first watch and I’m hooked! However there are so many seasons I don’t think I can really try to commit to watching all of them. Which seasons are a must watch? Also if they exist - skippable seasons?

A rough estimate into how I think casting will look at BB30, with a couple of bakes from All stars 2 missing due to me thinking they’re not gonna take too much from that pool. I think for the most part, we’ll be looking at a mix of new era + a couple of “legends” with some old schoolers sprinkled in. There’s a couple of names I was considering throwing in as well but were less confident about.
What do you think? Did I miss anyone major?

Watching, well re-watching, Big Brother 27 on Pluto TV live 24 channel ( no shilling here just back noise) but it occured to me how so many have been evicted on " THEIR BIRTHDAYS!"!

I would dieeee for an all women season, but if that were even realistic, it wouldn’t be able to have every single one of these divas… So out of these 50 past houseguests, who do you think would make the most entertaining season of big brother?!
(Choose approx 15-20)

As a Survivor and BB fan, I have always wondered if the team-based challenges of Survivor and the houseguest-based gameplay of BB could coexist. Of course I love that BB is different, but I also love when they introduce forcing players to work together like Battle of the Block. So I was wondering, would it be possible to make a season with teams built into the game rather than alliances? If so, how would things like HOH/Nomination work? Would BoTB return, or would you have a new challenge? And how many members on each team? Or, do you think BB is best played as a game where alliances form rather than teams existing from the beginning? I'm interested in hearing what you guys think.

I have this feeling in my gut that BB29 is going to be somehow space themed like how they did with BB CAN Season 5.
They always have open ended concepts where it can pan out whereever, and I could 1000% them doing certain comps as "planets", or see them bringing back that sacrifice twist with it being abandoning someone in space.
Also I did some research and it turns out NASA is sending people in space this summer for a practice launch for when they send people back to the moon in 2028.

im about halfway through my watch of the season and it seems to me like a lot of the public opinions featured on the episodes heavily favor johnny mac. i know that james wins afp, but based off of what i see in the episodes and the knowledge that johnny mac was a fan favorite, it really surprises me that he didnt win afp! does anyone who was a fan at the time have some insight as to why he may have lost the vote?

Need to preface this by saying, I only follow this show casually but I am curious to get the community response to this question.
On a scale 1 to 10 with 10 being the best, how would you score the average Big Brother houseguest on how strategically competent they are? This would be things like making good plans or alliances, being able to advance themselves well in the game, making good of use of advantages, and so on. It does not necessarily mean ability to win a challenge but it would include making good use of a challenge win.

As the season has wrapped up and the houseguests are on their way back home, I've been reflecting on where BB28 ranks with the new era seasons. I feel like considering the whole summer, almost every week there were multiple things going the way I wanted it to and fun episodes and fun characters all around. Here's my current ranking + explanation for the New Era:
27 > 26 > [gap] 28 > 23 > [gap] 24 > 25
#1 BB27:
I'm very high on every result of this season & besides the White Locust Twist, the storylines, the cast, the competitions were all unique and fun to watch! Strategy-wise very incompetent in that department but overall the most fun I had watching it.
#2 BB26:
Similar to BB27, all the outcomes were very fun and shocking to see go down on the live feeds. Everyone is lovable and memorable and great intro to the Blockbuster. Some days I even have this above BB27.
#3 BB28:
The season that is only half the amount of fun and dynamic from the other seasons. Genuinely, I see fun strategy, fun moments, fun characters and decent competitions. It's semi-middle of the road because it doesn't deliver as much on every front as BB26+27. The Icons remain in total control like the entire game and twists screw the newbies over. I wish the producers didn't do the Time Capsule twist.
#4 BB23:
I don't remember this season as much, but I love all the players and funny moments. A feel-good watch but lacks drama & a change in house structure imo...More solidly a good season than BB28 but doesn't have the same highs as BB28 (like Lala's HOH or Melody DE HOH). Don't understand why many rank this season lower; we still have great characters outside of the cookout (Sarah Beth, Claire, DX, etc.)
#5 BB24: Initially, I would've had this at #3 butttt, I remember outside of the Leftovers forming, Taylor's journey and Muffingates....What else is there about this season?? We have half the cast being non-factors in the strategy part, only a few memorable characters, few memorable competitions, and has an icky vibe to the entire season... So I love Taylor & her story but this season gives me trauma and I hate thinking back to those first 2 weeks....
#6 BB25: Eh, the Endgame was boring. A few memorable characters, 5 great weeks of strategy and the biggest let down I've ever seen in a season. Unequitable competitions, bad twists, and misogyny carry this season.

BB28 had a lot of real alliances (Icons, Crossovers, FAP, Red Corner, Toolshed, Melodrew) but also a ton of fake ones where the members barely remembered that they were a thing. Of all the fake alliances, which one was your favorite?
A few candidates:
ETA: thanks u/kattylyn for giving me more fake ones:

Now that Yash is out of the house I’m really enjoying his personality. I can totally see that he went to an Ivy League school, and that he actually is funny. Do you think he was shy in the house? Production maybe didn’t focus on him? He was featured more toward the end, but I feel like I had no idea he was this cool lol and I watched him for 3 months.
ETA: I thought he went to UPenn 🤣 it makes a little more sense now! Nowhere in the post did I state which school he went to, just that it was Ivy League. Y’alll just assumed I’m dumb and made comments telling me as such! Thanks for being kind!! ✌️
