Been wondering about this one for a while. Would something like this be considered to have one or two features in MA? Non-threaded barrel.
Does the shroud count if what actually covers the barrel is a slide? Does the forward area count as a possible 2nd grip? For those unaware this is essentially a Glock chassis and uses Glock internal including the barrel/slide assembly.

I thought I would create a post on its own specific to factory made Short Barreled Shotguns.
I am interested in getting a Benelli M4 Entry but see that there is no specific definition for an SBS. They certainly have a definition for a sawed off shotgun and make it clear you cannot take an existing shotgun and modify it into an SBS.
I have read that it appears MA puts factory made SBSs into the handgun category. Wouldn't that make an M4 Entry an ASF because its a handgun?
Despite the ATF guidance, I intend to register it with the NFA because I have low risk tolerance and I don't want to rely on entrapment by estoppel as my defense.
Thoughts?
