Increase in scam bots. if you see them, please report them. We are doing what we can to stop it, but its a cat and mouse race.

Like the title says, if you see a bot, then please report. Bots suck and we are working hard to remove them.

Hated the M9 when in the Corps

Aside from being beat to shit I always felt like I was holding a brick

But when I decided to start my lil Romeo + Juliet Rapier project I realized they're actually nice

Now I've ended up with 3 of them thanks to PSA lol

Already ordered a threaded barrel for the 84BB, Its Gonna be my lil "Assassin" pistol thing as a range toy

A few months ago, I had zero Berettas. Now, thanks to chance and poor impulse control, I have two Berettas. Happy 500th anniversary Beretta!

Blew the front sight off of my Corsa

The front sight was canted off to the side since I bought it new, I just assumed that was the factory alignment? I really don’t know how pistol irons work. I always hated it, fiber never really shown bright IMO.

I went to the range and somewhere in the first few shots the fiber must’ve blown out as I noticed my site picture was just showing the color of the target now through a hole (That actually made target acquisition really easy) like AR irons.

Somewhere around 190 rounds in the actual site post flew off. I assumed it was staked in (the little detent on it?). luckily, I picked up some Tag Precision fiber optics recently with the intention of changing them. But then I learned I need to get a site pusher to remove and install new ones? And then I have to sight them in? how much of a task is that? Is it just better to take to a smith for a one-off change like this?

Oh yeah, the gun only has 2200 rounds through it and sure enough this was the first time I shot Winchester white box and first failure to feed. I wonder if an overpowered load is what blew my site apart?

Recommendations

Hey y'all, I'm relatively new to the scene (firearms in general). My first pistol I purchased is the Beretta 92FS and if I can be frank I bought it because it was the pistol in Resident Evil 1 for PlayStation. Since purchasing I've tried to go to the range every day I have off from work and tighten up my accuracy. I've really come to enjoy the feel and operation of this pistol, quite a lot more than I had thought I would. My 15 round spread is pretty decent for being a noobie and I'm to the point now where I'm considering some upgrades. I've always wanted to get the steel replacements for the factory polymer pieces. I also want to get some nice wood grips. I'm inquiring about Tritium sights because my accuracy doesn't matter if I can't see in the dark lol. I've seen other things like the G conversion and compensator, etc. Do y'all have any recommendations? To nip it in the bud early, I'm aware that if I wanted to upgrade a pistol I shouldn't have chosen a classic like the 92FS, but I did and here we are. I'm not trying to deck it out or anything just some QoL upgrades from the stock form.

Beretta 92FS Slide Stop

Just got a used 92 off Gunbroker. All is well. However, i was checking it at the shop and the slide doesn’t lock back whether a magazine is in it or not. Is the Slide Stop spring likely dead? Or what else could it be?

I’m only mildly disappointed. This will be a project gun (new to that but looking forward to jumping in). I figure I’ll be replacing some components anyway.

I went with the factory plate. I’ve been unable to find any information on taller sights to co-witness through the optic with the factory plate

First off, I loved this pistol. Trigger felt great, surprisingly accurate and very predictable recoil. One of the easiest to handle 9mm Ive used. By the 3rd magazine I was consistently hitting 2 inch targets between 25 and 35 yards. The only thing I noticed was excessive scorching on the casings. I was using Browning 124 grain ammo. Anybody experience the same thing? What ammo do you guys run on your APXA1s?

Kydex IWB holster for Brigadier

I have a 92FS Brigadier and I'd like a kydex IWB holster for it. Some say the JMCK for the Brigtac works, but are there other options?

Does anyone know why the last two of the 85FS Cheetahs In Nickel have sold for $1925 and $1926.11?

I bought 2 weeks ago and know I got a good deal at $650+tax but didn’t think I got that good of a deal.

Anyone want to give me 2k for mine?

Toni-systems Magazine release sticking

Post image
4 Upvotes

Pic just for reference, It’s not the grip screws, I’ve tested with stock grips, and without the grip panels entirely, and isolated the issue to this new Toni Systems extended magazine release.

Due to the nature of Toni systems having to incur a massive import tariff fee, I’m hesitant to go through the process of exchanging it, so I’m wondering if anyone else has had this issue and figured out a solution.

I’ve exchanged it out for the stock one so that it works, but using your imagination, basically the mags get stuck and drop free with maybe a 10% success rate, otherwise no matter what pressure or method I used they’ll stick some kind of way.

Has anyone figured out a certain method of filing or modifying it or messing with it to keep good retention without destroying it? new to the platform and please excuse the double wide trailer optic as I’m reviewing it currently.

It fucks. The only parts I've replaced for maintenance have been the extractor spring in the slide and the slide stop spring in the frame.
