Buying flowers
I was at the grocery store and decided to pick up some flowers for my fiancé. There was a little girl around 4yo in the self checkout line with her parents who were having trouble with the machine. A worker came over. The little girl looked ready to go and/or ready to act up so i handed her a flower. She smiled and played with it in her hands. Her parents noticed and thanked me. We went our separate ways.

It truly is these seemingly small actions—based on actually observing the world around—that give me hope for humanity. Thanks for sharing, OP! 💕

I used to buy single gerber daisies or roses on my way home from school. I’d pass by a church and would say hello to the old people who went there. Some would joke and ask if the flower was for them, and I’d say yes! They were always pleasantly surprised and I took great joy in it too!!
That little girl will remember your kindness!
