Observation Potluck Menu.

I was in line at the foodbank today, it's inside of a church near my house. On their bulletin board was a sign-up sheet for a potluck on the 30th. The following dishes have been listed so far [no desserts, the sheet says they'll be provided already]:

+Egg salad sandwiches.

+Green salad.

+Chicken wings.

+Something :) [Smiley face included.]

+Meat + cheese plate.

+Pasta salad.

+Cheese + Pickles + Crackers.

I agree! Have you had them with celery seeds in it? One of my favorites.

I do not :(

And 99% of versions use mayo and I'm allergic to eggs.

German potato salad has no mayo - vinegar and bacon fat and soft boiled egg yolk based dressing. Delicious!

My recipe omits the egg yolk so is perfect for OP.
1 pound Bacon, rendered and reserve the fat
2 teaspoons stone ground mustard
1/4-1/2 cup red wine vinegar depending on how much fat you have. Vinegar is used to cut through the fat and still provide some flavor.
1-2 pounds baby red potatoes cut into bite size pieces and cooked until tender, but still warm
1-2 teaspoons spoon fresh chopped dill (to taste)

Render bacon
Mix mustard, vinegar and dill in bowl, gradually whisk in liquid bacon fat.
Add warm potatoes and stir to coat. Let potatoes drink in all the dressing.
Can be served warm or cold.
