The exact same subreddit as you love, but with IRL cars included! This sub, BeamNGRP will stay the same, no IRL cars, no rebadging and such, allowing thouse who want to get immersed into the world of BeamNG without all the Hondas and Fords can stay here.
Anybody that just needs to have that IRL car, can now safely do so without incurring my wrath over at r/BeamngFreeRP.
Transfer your character to the new sub, start fresh, or they live simultaneously in both realities! Its up to you. The only thing I ask is not to cross post from the new sub to this one (doing so the other way around is fine though).
I'm sure there will be questions, so feel free to ask away! I will not answer any questions that are directed at me, just ones about the new sub.

This is a guide for new users, as well as our veterans, to play our RP. It will be quite simple and nothing outlined here are "rules" per say. The actual rules to post always apply, and you can happily ignore this guide so long as you are following our sub's rules. Click on this link for a guide on how to create a backstory and motivations for a character, and This link for a guide of how to best use post Flairs.
On to the suggestions then:
Follow the rules.
Especially rule 4, as this is the most obvious one to break. There are Beamng mods you can use that are lore friendly, they're fine to use. Agencies are fine as well, such as Caltrans or California Highway Patrol (when you're RPing on a California based map.) FBI and USPS are also fine. Amazon, UPS, DHL, FedEx are not. If you're confused, avoid companies all together until you get a feel for it by reading other's posts.
Limit UI.
This is not a hard rule, but too much clutter on the screen makes the post feel unrealistic. There are time's when you can't remove clutter, but reduce it as much as possible. UI apps that would make sense on a dash cam, body cam, security cam, or action cam are encouraged. If you add it in post, all the better. Don't us AI tools to edit your pictures or videos, as it violates rule 12.
Take realistic pictures and video. Think about how the pictures or videos your posting are taken. Are you wearing glasses with a camera on it? Is it a 360 action camera mounted to a stick on the back or your car? Are you taking pictures with a DSLR? Where are you standing when these pictures are being taken? Try and think about where and how these pictures or video is being taken. Drone shots, getting pictures from passing cars of your accident, or pictures taken from buildings are totally fine.
Create your Character.
This is a fairly straight forward task. You can play anybody you want (so long as their fictional), with any level of wealth you want. Just keep things in reason. If your in the top 1%, try to act like it, and expect others to treat you like your in the top 1%. (If you don't like hate, I'd stay away from being a billionaire.) If you're poor, and mooching off of others, don't show up with a Super Car. Keep things with in reason.
If you have a name, you can (but only if you want to) create a custom user flare with your name, job title, or hobby. This is not required.
Your character can be a reflection of yourself, or somebody completely different. It's up to you.
Keep your character's finances within reason. If you have a super car, your job should reflect this.
Creating NPC's for you to build your world around is fun (Partner, Kids, Scorned ex lover, ext.) and can significantly add to your roll play here. You don't need to have them if you don't want to.
Lastly, if you're having trouble roll playing, creating motivations for your character, coming up with a back story, and having flaws and goals can really help. These can be baked in from the start, or thought up over time. It's all up to you.
Play off of others.
If something happens you want to participate in, that your character would participate in, do so! Just don't be detrimental to other's roll play. Connect with them if you want to collaborate. People collaborating is fun, even for those who are not directly involved.
Keep things realistic.
I know I've brought this up a lot, but keeping things realistic is very important to many of our community members. Launching surface to air missiles at people fleeing the police is a big no no. If you are a criminal on the run, make sure your story makes sense. Let the LEO RPers try and find you. Make PM them if you want to collaborate. Don't take things to far.
NO TERRORISM please. It's happened before and been removed. Don't do it.

Can I use X car?
Is it a real car? Then no. Stick to lore friendly brands.
What Mod's can we use?
Anything and everything, so long as it doesn't violate any of the rule.
What about Automation?
This is a tricky one. Generally we allow Automation car's so long as it doesn't break the rules, but their quality should be very high. If you want to just show off a car you created, use r/beamng or r/automationgame
Can I be in the military?
Yes, just don't start wars other's don't agree with. If we get too many complaints, the post's will be removed.
Are there exceptions to rule 4?
At this time, just aircraft. There are no good lore friendly helicopter and large aircraft mods right now. This may change in the future.
What if I don't want to use paid mods, and a unpaid mod is similar enough to a lore friendly one?
While I understand that not everybody is comfortable paying for mods, many of the creators who make lore friendly paid content have demo's of those mod's on the Repo. Ask the poster about it, they should tell you how to get it.
Can I rebadge a car to make it lore friendly?
No. If the car starts out as a VW and you have assets to make it an AW, I'm going to say no. If you find a car on the repo that is just a rebadged Subaru, but has no Subaru assets associated with it, it's a grey area. AW Type One and Hirochi Héritage are examples of this grey area. We're letting them slide for now, but they may be removed in the future.
Is owning BeamNG Drive required to play?
No! Anybody can join so long as you follow the rules.

Hello everyone, I have been really busy with work and working on the AW but atleast i can say i'm almost finished building it!!! I have kinda based it off the EUDM spec as i think it looks nicer but idk if it's legal.
I did use a combination of repaired, new and used but in good shape parts to build the entire vehicle, the only things missing are the engine and the transmission, not sure if i wanna do a custom engine & trans or just find one that was sold on the T-Wagen from factory.
If anyone knows a good place to get those parts, give me a shout please!
I am disgusted, I just had this car for only a bit more than a month and I just got T-boned by some idiot in a Procyon Centauri. Thankfully I was alone in the car and I'm alright, just a few bruises, nothing too serious, at least.. That was an amazing car from the time it lasted. Man I'm sick of these guys that doesn't give a fuck about road laws, he ran that stop sign without even slowing down !
That thing is unfixable now, the entire back of the car is destroyed, hopefully I can salvage the engine and transmission and maybe some other things out of it, I can't just let the V10 getting crushed without doing anything with it.
I have literally owned this for THREE DAYS and its already broken. Started it this morning, knock knock knock who is here, rod knock, ouuu shiii. What do i do now. I was called onto Day Shift to cover a Lieutenant that called out ill. My Bastion is in the shop having a new engine so they sent me out in one of the unmarked Bastions. The day was normal, attending a vehicle fire, pulling over a hyper-car but then I noticed two Black Gavril D15 Kentarch Sedona's following me, I thought nothing of it and continued as usual, until I get a call for a suspected break-in at Sealbrik.
That's when I got surrounded, one of them from the rear, one from the front. I was trapped. I radioed my supervisor who quickly rushed to the scene, I was held at gun-point, that's when a Molotov was thrown at the police cruiser, I jumped out and ran round the corner, my supervisor came within minutes and the occupants were ultimately shot.

for nearly a year my pessina has been my daily delivery driver, i deliver for turbo Burger, Green Pier, Chinatown restaurant and many other things. The Pessima's little I4 finally blew up , so i started looking at new motors and they where 12.000 for a v6 . so i switched over to the Vehicle Shop on BC Neighbor market and found an AWD Sunburst that was equipped with a bull bar and ball hitch, a new F4 motor and comfort drive. it was just 10,876 so i bought it. i decided to give it a new Paint Job for my Courier service. "Sunfire Speedy Delivery"
it has the 2.0 Gasoline Motor in it but that has quite a lot of torque for towing.
For some reason the seller sold it with basic rally Tires on it, so its ready to upgrade if i need to.
Perhaps this will get me quite a few more clients.

To the left, my sister's APALLING Mistral and Mother's Gavril Kodiak.
Mother has always been a sucker for american trucks, she especially likes the D-Series, but the UK never favoured her wishes thanks to the ridiculous taxes and mark-up prices, so the first thing she'd done once we got to Canada was buy one! This one isn't her first, but her second. It's a 2022 Gavril Kodiak D-Series (idk if it's a 15 or 25, it's ridiculous either way!), dark green with the optional "Ranger" package, which includes a lot of protective metal, a powerful winch and, lo and behold...

2 LITRE SUPERCHARGER. It's amazing, right? Impressive for such a huge engine to even have space for this much boost. She still has Canadian plates, she's waiting for the new US plates to arrive.
Now, my sainted sister... She's a complete dimwit. SHE bought a 1.3 Mistral auto as a car to get from home to work, yet, she ruined it completely.

Either way, back to me, Mum's gotten in contact with a friend of hers and told me she has one big surprise on the way to me... No idea what she could be thinking off, but she, apparently, has gotten a massive deal for me... hoping it isn't a scam. And speaking of surprises, my boyfriend (yes, I'm gay. Hooray.) said he's driving all the way from Utah to show me his newest purchase, told me to buy some extra oil... I feel like he has really blown it all on a Ibisholics Miramar.
Damn holes on the road in Norte. The van has been moved outside to make space for this nugg. Its a 1990 Ibishu Covet 1.3L which MIGHT seem very bad, but its actually very good. It has QUAD CARBS OMAGAAAA, stage 1 long block and a sporty exhaust. It also spits flames btw. 7650 redline. Its quite the machine. White cluster add instant +10 hp. Stocktuning front bumper. Off-Road struts, a skidplate and otherwise stock. I had actually reserved this Covet like two weeks ago to buy it since i liked it so soooooooooo much. Now i finally got it. I wanna make it like a rally build but not like too extreme maybe i'll raise the ride hight a bit, remove the rear seats, better steering and steering wheel, mud terrain tires yeah. Suggest good restaurants pls i wanna eat out
Well, I bought a Satsuma Police Car from a guy at Firwood Guest Homes, a 1974 Satsuma 100A. I did a check on the internet and found out this car was used by the Beampolitan Police in the UK.
Then I found someone that was selling an 1976 Satsuma 100A on Beambook Marketplace for $100, I decided to buy it for a project.

I was on my walking routine in the morning and came by this masterpiece. Its a high-end 1987 limited edition of the already limited Ibishu Pessima Zenith, in its RWD configuration, as it was sold domestically in Japan back in the 90s. The owner must be very careful, as the car is in a very good condition despite the years.

when i got close to it, turns out its a bastion, not just a V6 one but V8 one!
body was extremely dirty and driver side door was open. i wonder how long this thing have been abandoned for.

Ibishu wanted to make its first EV based on the CrossSport. However, rumors say it was cancelled weeks before the announcement, with less than 10 near-final-production units. A few made it into private hands, and this one just rolled into my shop.
Looks mostly standard, except for the front grill and the badge. Hub caps are a bit whack tho. Battery is only 24 kWh (one in the trunk and one in the driveshaft tunnel), and there is a surprisingly decent frunk. Asked the owner, he says he got it on a Japanese auction. The car is quite slow, and the range is about 50 miles (!!!).
No wonder they cancelled it. Interesting find tho.
