I want kids but not at this rate! I have 6 wives and they’re always popping out babies! I even added a mod and it literally did nothing. I have no idea why I care so much. I feel like it’s gonna cause the game to crash or something after another 40 hours of this
My wife & I have been trying to get pregnant for the 4th time, and have been waiting in town around 2 years now. Unfortunately not much is happening, even though we both have the virile perk. We were both 35 when we started trying but have just hit 37, I'm worried our time is running out.
We've tried:
Wife as a governor & me waiting in town.
Having her in my party, both waiting in town.
Having her lead a party, in my army & waiting in town.
During this time, my older brother & his wife were able to achieve a 4th pregnancy so I know it's possible. My younger brother & his wife(both early 20's) also have struggled to get a 2nd pregnancy.
Are there any factors I need to consider? Is it better to wait in a town I own or a foreign town?
Long time player finally coming to play warsails. Doing an imperial run and not sure how I should comprise my fleet. Should I do all heavy ships like the Dromon I think its called. Or have some light or medium ships aswell. And if anyone knows a guide or something that lists where to find all the upgrades it would be appreciated.
Hey guys been a while since i've since played this game like 5 6 months and also took part in the community, after having another stage of my life where i want to play this game 15 hours a day for no reason at all i wanted to ask some things, first of all the new mods that came within last 6 months seems really interesting there were a lot of new ones that seem like would make even a experienced player enjoy it again, and then also one of the most popular mods, RBM, seems like it got a shit ton of updates and as a person who still has not played it i am installing a new mod order that includes it, i am genuinely excited about it, but basically i would like to ask you all if there are some mods or changes that came within last 6 7 months that captivated you a lot, one info ive seen was towns loyalty penalty for culture was gone now so i count that as a W, well anyway if you got anything that you would like to share i would be really happy to hear it, thanks for it already. And also rest in peace İpek Yavuz This Legacy that you've committed so much to wont be forgotten.
Never know what to trust anymore with things constantly changing for either better or worse.
Can units be ordered on an preferencal basis (IE not solely by what weapons they have equipped, but by rather or not they belong to a particular commander-specified (assuming that is still something you can do? I've read that you both can and cannot do this) grouping/formation (not 'battle' formation but a formation of units dictated by the player/commander, same conflicting information situation as previously)).
If the game lacks these extremely basic control over game mechanics I question rather how it could be an improvement over Warband with mods like Silverstag.
Hello Lords, ladies and butter brains. I have played bannerlord mnb 2 for about 1500 hours, but I’ve always had the same play style : high social, maxed leadership and low intelligence, I delegate my party roles. I always have high honor but I’m getting the itch…
Have you guys any tips tricks or limitations that you employ to make it a more immersive and unique experience? I want to play as a pirate and attack pretty much everyone but the nords. I will be nord My party will be 10%nord infantry and 90% looters, brigands, and other criminals, corsairs.
Anyone else with experience in a pirate play through? Please feel free and encouraged to add your perspectives.
For god shake, can somebody tell the all mighty empress that the realm needs peace?
I am inmerse in a bellisario sandbox run ( reunify the empire) and at fisrt the thing was gping like normal, mochung being a thorn on my side, etc. By the middle of the kuzait war Rhagaea was captured so it was up to me and pharon to clean the mess. Lucon show his oportunity so he declared war, after pure force of grinding his armies agaist my castle i was able to call the banners to reunite an 800 strong army and steamrolled the north empire to oblivion because virtually all their lord were having a party at my dungeon, after that i took mochung prisioner and we finally got peace. I though that i will have a little peace but no, the lady has to declare war on the sturgian and the kuzaits have a pact with them.
So I finally decided to make my own kingdom for the first time ever. I'm so glad I ran into this issue now instead of further down the line.
For some reason, my game cannot handle loading a save after my own kingdom was formed. However, it loads saves before that just fine. I'm not sure what's happening, but I'm certain it has to do with the kingdom creation. I don't have any mods that conflict with or alter that process in any capacity.
My current setup is
Bannerlord 1.5.2
War Sails 1.3.2
Mods
Unlimited Smithing Stamina
Troop Formations (Not Installed)
Harmony
Butterlib
Bannerlord UI Extender
RTS Camera
RTS Command
Loot Between Sieges
For further clarification, here's screenshots of the exact versions.
EDIT: After turning off ALL mods, the game still crashes on attempting to load a kingdom save.
EDIT 2: After a bit more messing around, I've discovered that creating a kingdom using an earlier save in the campaign seems to load just fine.
Thanks a lot for all the support on my previous mod Cavalry Charge AI. Your comments really shaped it.
My next mod is Better Infantry AI, I'm already working on it. I'll fix the spear/pike bracing AI first. Then I'll make infantry fight in a formation, and use polearms better in general. Lastly I'll do a lot of fixes.
But It's hard for me to decide how should infantry act. It's way harder than deciding cav behaviour as there are lots of instances and variables. So I'll ask you guys a few questions:
What annoys you most about infantry AI right now? Something you've seen happen again and again in battles.
How should infantry hold a line? Shield walls, keeping formation, not breaking apart when the fight starts, reacting to cavalry etc.
How should they attack? Charging in as a blob or advancing in formation, pushing as a unit, flanking.
Is there a battle moment you wish the AI handled better? A siege, a hill, an ambush, bridges or rivers, fighting next to your own cavalry, anything.
Anything from other mods or games that you really liked? (Total War, older Mount & Blade, other Bannerlord mods...)
Short answers are welcome too. Even one sentence helps.
Like Cavalry Charge AI, most of the mod features will be in the MCM settings so you can turn things on and off.
If you're like me, you like smithing. It's good money and relations with notables, it allows you to create some of the most powerful weapons in the game, and it can even provide SP and AP.
Of course, it does require a bit of a commitment. I'm already well versed in the process of grinding my smithing skill, but I never looked in depth into cost-effective smithing recipes. I'm not talking about weapons you would use in combat. I mean weapons you make specifically to grind out weapon parts.
Does anyone know of a reddit post or some kind of spreadsheet that outlines what I'm talking about? Like, something that provides the most cost-effective recipe for a specific weapon at a specific tier. If not, I might just make it myself.
