Advice Dispute a charge

Less than three months ago, I got some bank accounts. I made a Zelle account using my number, but I selected the wrong digit and sent money from my Bank of America account to that Zelle account. I forget about that transaction, and now when I'm looking back at my account, I'm wondering if it's possible to dispute that charge? And if so, how? I asked Bank of America customer service, and a wonderful women said to contact Zelle directly. I'm still unsure how to proceed, since I'm not sure exactly how to do so. It would be lovely if someone would help, thank you!

it asks multiple times when adding a contact to verify the number is correct. If the number is non existent then it will return after some number of days. If it went to someone else you are SOL.

Also I’m concerned you spoke to someone not from BofA as they absolutely would handle their Zelle service and not say to call elsewhere

If the number was off by one digit, there's a real chance that person exists and already spent your money. Zelle treats transfers like cash, once it's sent it's gone unless the recipient agrees to send it back. You can try calling Zelle support and explaining the typo, but they won't reverse it without the other party's cooperation. Sometimes if you send a request to that same number with a note explaining the mistake, people actually return it. Worth a shot, but don't count on it.

Zelle is not a charge card, so there's not charge-back possible. Zelle is no different than handing someone cash.
