ive been trying to find someone to help out on this for a while now

Hi,

I'm a singer and song writer. I know how to play the piano a little and do some ukulele too but mostly I just write lyrics and sing melody. I had been using Suno (cringe I know) to help with the backing tracks but I'd really rather work with real people that know how to actually produce. I have a few song ideas.

I have one fully written song in the POV of a vampire who has fallen in love with a human that keeps visiting their crumbling castle in the woods (I was playing a lot of V Rising when I wrote it). Very moody and heavy string vibes is what I'm looking for for this one. Think evanescence or nightwish.

I also have a somewhat spicy song in the POV of a circus clown who falls in love with Ronald McDonald. This one I envision being like an electro swing jazzy moment.

I'm a classically trained singer but I'd love to branch out and try something jazzy for the spicy clown song.

I have a snippet of me singing the vampire one with my Suno background on my bandlab (@hdennison).

If you help me with these and need a singer I'm totally down to provide my vocals.

I'm very new to bandlab too so my current projects are very very rough.

I’ve been trying to record vocals but it seems every time i enable monitoring on a track with heavy effects there’s a delay.

the in app tool doesn’t work and i don’t know how else to fix it

any suggestions?

Honestly im making all types of ug rap im still tryna find my sound but once i do we goin up from here. in a couple months im gonna get a laptop for fl and an actual mic anyway so yeah

“All Hail the Power” was written 2 decades ago at the age of 19.

The Genesis of the song was one evening I was at my Grandparents house who always had this old out of tune piano. I was shuffling through the old sheet music they had and found this old christian hymn “All hail the power of Jesus name” that I’ve recently learned is somewhat considered “the Christian Anthem” written in the 18th century. Although other than the name it shares no resemblance.

I couldn’t read sheet music but the Em Chord on the piano and singing “All hail the power of Jesus Name” just felt right to me. I took that Idea home and pulled on the composition's strings with my guitar, wrote out a handful of verses and ended up with this.

Some months later I recorded it at my friend Calico Jack’s home studio and driving the mix is the original lead vocals, guitar, drums, bass, back up vocals. I had also back then, added in the crowd sound effects. I was unable to remove them so I just leaned into it.

Recently, I added lots of additional instruments including Piano, Brass, strings, a touch of bass, a touch more drums with midi in Bandlab.
