Stop trying to get caught up, and I'm getting close. Every Monday, we (the Bakersfield Hash House Harriers) meet somewhere different to walk, run, and jog every Monday. On 10/5, we started from just east of the Brundage Indoor Swap Meet and ran through South Oleander. It's getting dark early, so it's getting harder and harder to get pics of interesting places without sunlight, so enjoy what we found.

Down a stretch of alleys, we were treated to a lot of different murals. We were even joined on trail by Sophia from KGET+ and her cameraman Ryan. If you have Fire TV, Apple TV, or Roku, you can get the KGET+ app and see a little about us and others.

Need recommendations for women’s hair salons open past 5 that are affordable just for a simple hair trim

I’ve moved to Bakersfield 4.5 years ago and I used to use the veterinarian located in Oildale. I believe he shut down his practice. It was known as North of the River veterinary hospital. But I am in need of a quality veterinarian to examine my 10 year old lab and 7.5 year chihuahua-mix. I tried using Banfield Hospital,located inside PetSmart off Ming Ave, but they were absolutely terrible. TERRIBLE is an understatement. They provided no care and chargedexcessively for lab tests. I paid over $2000 and they simply did nothing for my Labrador. Is there any recommendations for privately owned practices? Any insight would be tremendously appreciated. Thank you!

The elections office is 100% aware and working on a fix. In Google and KernCounty.com and KernVote.com's search the top result for Drop Box Locations is linking to a PDF with 2022 dates telling people they can vote until November 8th (without the year).

They're aware of it. KernVote.com's link is now fixed. They're working on seeing if they can change the #1 result on Google (the old PDF) with current info.

A local news source had the incorrect link as well I already contacted them asking them to fix it.

Has anyone tried one of the new shows at the local planetarium? How is it? Was it worth going? I've been to the Griffith one. I have no idea what the Bakersfield one is liked. Would love your opinion of it!
