Hi everyone, I am a tagalog who went here in Bacolod for the masskara festival. I was supposed to be with my friend as this was a trip planned before the war. Last month my travel buddy backed out and so did I, (mag eexchange program dapat ako sa malaysia pero di ko na tinuloy) 2 days before the flight, i asked my travel buddy if gusto pa nya tumuloy and sabi nya hindi na.

I contacted my Bacolod friend to ask if shes okay with hosting me. The prices for hotels went too high and our supposed to be accom was cancelled na the moment travel buddy and I decided not to pursue the trip.

My bacolod friend is glad to host. Few hours before the flight, naka pack na ako and ready to travel to mnl, bacolod friend said i need to book muna a hotel for a couple of days coz may aberya sa bahay nila, which I did as a backup. Nag mamadali na ako magbook non kasi I was already packed.

The last minute booking I made turned out to be a mixed unit. I only found out when I arrived at the venue. Super pagod at antok na ako neto because of the flight delays. The host asked me, so you didnt know that this is a mixed gender accomodation? I panicked because all of the rooms are full of foreign men. I am the only girl there so I left. Most hotels are full na so I checked in at a very dirty inn downtown, cockroaches? Dirty bathroom etc, it was really a bad experience. I was literally sparkling because of the bad bedsheet creating electrostatic.

I was able to find another accomodation for 15 to 16 at Lacson but its already booked for today and tomorrow. I kept updating my bacolod friend of whats happening to me and etc. Shes like, dont worry you can stay at my home tomorrow (which is supposed to be today after i checked out of the hotel)

Shes not responding even now as of 3:06PM. I dont know her full address.

I took my luggage to sm travellers lounge. Some locals helped me to get here.

I really wanted to watch the electric masskara to atleast get something good at my bad experience and the double bookings I made.

Theres a 10pm flight I can choose upon rebooking, but Im not really sure if the time is enough to hop in between watching, going back to travellers lounge and then the airport.

Akala ko ba, Jelliane, may PH School of Talents ka at advocate ka ng women empowerment? Kahit mga bakla sila, pusong babae rin ang meron sila. Pero ano ang ginawa ninyo ng grupo mo? Lutong-luto ang dating ng pageant ninyo!

Tapos ang publicity pa ng kaibigan mo, “What's a national pageant without drama?” Seriously? At whose expense? Paano naman ang mga contestant na napahiya at posibleng natrauma? Ganito ba ang women empowerment na ipinagmamalaki ninyo? Selective empowerment lang?

Girls 22F here, im college about to graduate... I am hoping to meet girlfriendship here in BCD, something new and meaningful outside relationship and current friendship, yap and rant about life and adulting. We can go coffee hunting, sports, hobbies etc..

Just sucks how boring life gets here in bacolod now everything is exclusive to certain group of ppl

Kanami makita ang Bacolod for Jesus halin pa sg una, pero tani we go beyond prayer and worship by calling out sin and mga churches ma tindog kg di mag hipos sg corruption diri sa aton syudad. Hello! Recently, may black stray cat na perme di ga kadto kadto sa house namon pangayo food. The thing is, very very skinny sa iya🥹 tapos may injury siya po. Daw ka medyo old na sa iya kag masakiton and indi siya namon ma take in kay may 4 kami ka dogs kag 3 ka other cats.

I want to share an experience we recently had at a resort because honestly, it didn’t sit right with us.

The room provided bottled water, so we used that instead of the drinking glasses available in the room. We had no reason to use the glasses, and as far as we knew, everything was fine.

When it was time to check out, we were informed that a glass had been broken and that ₱150 would be charged to our room.

The problem? We didn’t even use the glass.
We drank the bottled water provided by the resort. We didn’t touch the glass, and we certainly didn’t break it. Yet we were still charged for it. I understand that establishments have policies regarding damaged items. If a guest breaks something, then it’s reasonable to expect them to take responsibility. But shouldn’t there be some verification before charging a customer?

It’s not even about the ₱150 at this point. It’s about being held responsible for something we genuinely believe we didn’t do.

Are guests automatically responsible for every item inside their room, regardless of whether they used it or caused the damage? I’m curious if anyone else has experienced something similar at a hotel or resort. Would you have paid the charge without questioning it, or would you have disputed it?

Would you consider this a reasonable resort policy, or is it unfair to charge guests without verifying who actually broke the item?

Basta involved ang mga personalidad na ito, na inuugnay sa mga alegasyon ng pandaraya at pagiging enabler ng korapsyon at pagnanakaw, hindi na ako magtataka kung bakit panibagong pageant na naman ang nasasangkot sa kontrobersiya ng dayaan.

Lalo na kung mismong sa studio ng isa dito ay tinanggap at sinanay ang anak ng isang politikong inuugnay sa korapsyon na nag nakaw sa lungsod ng silay isang nepo baby naging lin ay, pati na ang isang babaeng may ari ng aesthetic salon na umano'y kerida ng isang politiko na sumali pa ng pageant. Kunwari pa kayo sa women empowerment niyo. Tumatanggap at nag eenable naman kayo ng mga nepobaby at kerida.

Hindi na rin nakapagtataka kung bakit kinukuwestiyon ang integridad ng kompetisyon.

Lahat sila pareho lang. Except 1 mabait at talented naman talaga yung isang host si Miss Dani D. Di na kasali dito. Charizzz..
