Tickets to Oregon State @Boise State

I’m an Oregon State fan I live in EO and want to come to Boise but tickets are pretty pricey. Any good places to get tickets besides seat geek?

Boise @ WSU

I didn’t know that I totally bought tickets mid field on WSU sideline when I meant to buy tickets for BSU side so guess I will be decked in BSU gear behind the WSU players

Does anyone know when the last time we were underdogs at home was? I think we’ll be a favorite by 1.5-3 points against oregon state, but we could somehow end up underdogs by november so I’m curious

Second question, if the answer is out of conference then when was the last time we were underdogs against a conference opponent?

Boy, I’d rather see him back out there than almost any DB currently on the roster…

Which is more of a problem from what you’ve seen, the defensive players taking bad angles to go for the tackle or focusing too much on trying to punch the ball out instead of just tackling?

Parking lot tailgating spots

Oregon state fan/alum making the trip for the away game in November. My wife’s family lives in and is from Boise, all BSU fans. We love hosting our own tailgate and like to be in the stadium lot. Is there any way to buy a single game pass to park a few trucks in the stadium and throw a tailgate?

Go beavs, go broncos, should be an awesome game and probably the first of 2 meetings this year…

Fresno state coach matt entz said he didn't think his team could score 31 and still lose or give up 38. Said he knew what boise state's weakness was and doesn't know if either team really played any defense over the course of the game. Also said he told madsen he can't wait until he graduates

Some notable things from the postgame interviews

Madsen and stege both said they had a dedicated milk can scrimmage where they used a water bottle with a milk can image on it

Said this game ranked in his top five, if not top three favorite all time wins

Didn't want to get into the illegal snap penalties but said the center has been doing the same thing all season and those're the only two illegal snap penalties he's seen in his career

Said they work on the fake fumble fourth down conversion play on thursdays (nice to see we still practice these types of plays every week)

He said he's got a lot of confidence in himself now, knows what he can do, said his mental performance coach said to remember to get his playmakers the ball. If he's ever struggling he knows what to do and to just let his guys go make plays

Madsen and stege both said they've been working on this game and using it as fuel since january, with the game last year hurting a lot after getting booed off the blue. This game meant everything to the team

Stege remembers fresno state chanting "run the damn ball" last year on the blue, and is happy they got payback by holding them to 69 yards rushing this time (boise state players also chanted "run the damn ball" as they held up the milk can last night)

Is going to go hike the grand tetons during the bye week

[Game Thread] The Battle of the Milk Can! #23 Boise State (4-1) @ Fresno State (4-1)

We’re heading to Fresno to take back the Milk Can. Fresno State has won the last three meetings, so I expect a tough match up tonight, but Boise’s run game this year has been dominant so hopefully we can continue that.

Team 1 2 3 4 F
Boise State 15 10 3 10 38
Fresno State 13 7 0 11 31

WEEK 6 PREVIEW: The Milk Can Game Part 28 featuring #23 Boise State (4-1, 1-0) at Fresno State (4-1, 1-0)

It's rivalry week for Boise State. The Milk Can Game is Boise State's only active rivalry left after realignment over the last 15-20 years killed off most of them, but it's a rivalry that's been won by Fresno State three times in a row. It's Boise State's worst stretch against Fresno State since losing their first 3 games against them, two of which were as a FCS team against a FBS team.

As per usual with Fresno State, the Bulldogs like to play physical, but this is a beatable Fresno State side. Preview points include, but aren't limited to:

  • Fresno State might have a vulnerable run defense
  • Boise State's defensive front needs to dominate
  • Red zone defense, and in particular not allowing red zone opportunities, is important
  • The guy with the best name is going to be one of the most important defenders
  • Ben Ford is getting his opportunity to shine again
  • Why do they play for a Milk Can anyways?
