Threw some swimbaits and bladed swim jigs for some trout! I swapped the treble out of the Zman Chatter tail and it did pretty good (coming soon to market). The new Micro Finesse Chatterbaits 1/8th nailed a few too! I normally throw the smaller 1/16th for trout, but seems like the larger one attracted some of the aggressive trout.
The EPF Swim and Shad FryZ Swimbait on a jig also did wonderful! Did the most damage as I can finesse those better then the heavier blades swim jigs.
The most damage tho, was the trout magnet!

Well lads, I got the news from the wife today that she ordered a very early birthday gift for me. Not sure when it comes in but it was ordered from digitaka. Very excited. Any line recommendations? Mainly fishing bass and pan but now that I have this I may have to expand to others.

Super excited to add this beautiful JDM Megabass POPX to my collection! It’s in "Dragon Fish G" (SP-C). At 1/4 oz (approx 7g), it's right on the upper limit of my BFS gear, but the topwater action is too good to resist. JDM packaging just hits different. Who else has been throwing these legends on light gear, and what's your go-to setup for them?

I just picked up a second BFS reel on a deal I couldn't pass up. Looking for recommendations on a second rod. My 1st bfs setup is a jdm SLX BFS with the 6'8 L expride. Would the 7'L cashion rod be a good pairing?

Looking into my first BFS setup and have found a good deal on the Daiwa PX rods. That said, I can’t seem to find much by way of reviews or coverage for them.
Does anyone have opinions on the PX rods? In particular, I’m looking at the Ultralight-Regular rod for throwing small jerkbaits, BFS crankbaits, and karashis on braid to fluorocarbon leader for largemouth and smallmouth, primarily.

wanting to get a bfs rod for my calcutta but want a long one so I can use it on bigger lakes where fish are kind of out there, wanting a rod for all around plastic techniques and this rod seems pretty good at it, what would you guys say?

Was lucky enough to get out to my favorite local spot this past weekend. Here in WNY fall colors are peaking and it was a gorgeous day. Water temps have been dropping fast and the bites have been harder to come by. I rigged up a Zman flashback mini with a shad fryz. I’d really like to keep fishing through the fall as temps continue to drop. Are there better lures or techniques that I should give a try?

I threw a 1/16oz panther martin with a ball bearing snap swivel today for about 30 minutes and noticed my braided mainline was twisting up a lot. I use Varivas 8 0.8PE braid to 5-6 feet of 6lb invizx. I ordered some cultiva micro ball bearing swivels, because it didn't seem like the eagle claw swivel I was using did much.
Is there anything else I can do to prevent twist like this? it feels like if I were to throw spinners for an hour or two I would end up twisting 20-30yds of my line.

Curious as to what people are using for line to get the best casting distance and still be decent tough?

Got myself a birthday gift. Kastking Kestrel Ultimate. Paired it with Gosen Lumina 2.5lbs. Can’t wait to try this bad boy out this weekend!
The packaging is so extra and premium. Loving the design and how solidly built this BC is. Full Magnesium body. No rattling components. Super light spool. Just so sexy.
