Forma
Has anyone moved their company library and settings to Forma or even dropbox?

You will pry my local NAS from my cold dead hands. Cloud is for sharing documents.

Exactly, working on non-local files (i.e. not IN house) will leave you twiddling your thumbs when the internet goes down.

Pitfalls to look out for? Mostly an AutoCAD based office though we do work in Revit

It’s used as a data storing system for autocad/revit in combination with SharePoint. For me it works pretty good (Civil3d) minor problems with synchronization due to desktop connector. This is a 3.5k company, my design group is about 200+ persons.

Yes to forma, for our small design group it has been wonderful compared to what we used to do. 7 designers for a 150 man company.

We have, it's been a bit of a mess and as far as I know it has to be done manually if moving from PlanGrid. It encompasses a lot of bloated features in addition to the classic PlanGrid interface (RFIs, change notices, collab tools etc) and accessibility continues to be an issue. Only admins can access 'the Hub' or set up projects and it's really annoying, as the settings are not easy to find and don't always take effect right away when someone is made an admin to access those features. I'd recommend getting in touch with a Forma/Autodesk rep, they will set up a call with your BIM manager to strategize the transition.
