Also known as the leopard peacock spider, gets its name (pardus) from its central patterning, which resembles the spots of a leopard. This species has quite a wide distribution from east of Albany all the way to a bit past Cape Arid.

Melbourne CBD.

Is my friend a juvenile redback? Looked more orange than the camera shows but the shape looks right?

Compared to his body, sorry for the bad photo qualities, only way I could get it to focus was video and screenshots located approx 2km from soldiers beach on grassland central coast nsw

Huntsman?

Sydney, NSW

Looks like a painting!

On a wall inside, northern Tas, I know I've seen similar here before, just can't think what they were.

maybe not a spider?? but the suspiciously long legs confuse me…
found on the ceiling of my car and hiding in the cracks of the window frame along with a few clearish coloured babies in Victoria 🥲
IRL it’s more red but showing more brown in the photos

This is an undescribed peacock spider species from a salt lake in the southwest of Western Australia.

Friend or foe? Seen being spooky in my house.

Northern coastal NSW

East of Melbourne, near forest with lots of big trees in the yards in between. Grazing fields a few houses on to the other side. This little critter darts at any bugs that come near and then returns to their spot and waits.

Perth WA

Small spider, not sure what it is. It's not the usual run of wolf spiders we have here. Please help id, thank you!

Came across this massive guy today at the Daintree Discovery Centre. What a beauty!

About the size of my palm minus fingers

He was on the handlebar of my bike so we gave each other a bit of a fright when I grabbed him by accident, haha

Perth WA, Cannington area. Night before, wife felt silk around her face but brushed it off. Just to see this fella.

Found this tiny guy on my car door. Looks quite huntsman like but of course it is very small
