Hello, i bought a 2022 q5 tdi 40. I'm waiting for it, it will arrive from Germany in like 3 weeks, bought from audi dealership. I read that i cant use Spotify without android auto. I mean see the lists and choose a song, not just previous/next song with bluetooth. Is there any solution because I absolutely hate using android auto.

Also, any tips and tricks will be appreciated and anything you have to tell me about reliability. Dpf shouldn't be an issue, i live countryside so the smallest trip is 20km and back.

About 3-5k miles ago, wife started complaining that her 2018 Premium Plus with 75k miles on it felt jerky, and didn’t drive as smoothly as it used to. Initially replaced the transmission mount (cheapest and least time-consuming option at $42 in parts and 30 minutes in labor) and that reduced the jolting felt while decelerating. Still felt jerky on deceleration and when shifting from 2-1 (DSG done every 40k). However, today I finally got the time to replace both engine mounts. 4.0 hours of my time and $452 in parts and car is driving like brand new. Thought I’d post a picture of the failed engine mount on the passenger side. Driver side looked okay initially, but showed evidence on leakage out of the bottom.

Any particular reason why these engine mounts are prone to fail? I imagine it’s just speed bumps, abrupt thresholds from road to driveway and the hot climate in FL where this car. Hope this is helpful.

I have 19 inch tires on my Q5 and I was wondering if it was smart to replace all four tires with Costco tires? Has anyone gotten tires from Costco and if so, which brand do you recommend?

Are these good years reliability-wise? Any years to avoid or common issues to watch out for?

My 2015 SQ5 has been regularly serviced its whole life. At about 119k miles, two shops found the rear subframe rusted through on critical parts. Replacement quotes were $5.3k–$6k. It looks like a plastic cover traps water against the subframe, and NHTSA already has dozens of near-identical complaints on 2015 Q5s and SQ5s. There's no recall yet.

Hi All. Need a bit of help. I have a 2019 Audi Q5 with 119000 kms. A couple weeks ago my Q5 had a warning on the dash saying “System Malfunction” then a day later an engine light came on P0236 turbocharger boost sensor A circuit and the vehicle ran a bit rough, hesitating upon acceleration was the main symptom. I replaced the turbocharger boost pressure sensor G31 with a Napa model (not OEM). The vehicle was ok for a day then the engine light came back on. It has the same P0236 code along with a P0606 ECM/PCM processor code. The same symptoms are there although not at severe it seems.

I’m at a loss here. Should I have replaced the boost sensor with an OEM model rather than a Napa part?

Any ideas on my next move here?

We’re having a baby in January and just test-installed our Nuna infant seat with the base in our Q5.
It seems really tight back there. To get the base and seat to clear without touching the backrest, I have to slide the front passenger seat almost all the way forward, leaving very little legroom up front. 
Has anyone with a Q5 ran into this same issue with the Nuna? Any tips or setup recommendations would be appreciated!

I am helping my coworker who hit a deer and she is missing her passenger lower grille. It’s a 2022 Q5 Hybrid Sport Utility.

I attached a picture of her drivers side that’s intact and the passenger side that’s missing the piece. I believe I need the lower grille, right, black/aluminum PN:80A807680AFBMT can anyone confirm that’s right? The small lower sensor is still attached… am I missing something?

I have a 2020 q5 that has the panoramic sunroof. I feel like it makes a lot of creaking noises. Did anyone else have this issue and know how to fix it? I already tried spraying silicone lube spray on the top of the sunroof

I currently purchased my first Audi in the white color, and I can’t help but notice when I wash it there’s often what I presume to be brake dust on the car and inside the wheel well. Any recommendations on products to apply to the car that can help deflect the brake thus from sticking to the car or rims between washes? I’ve also seen a lot of advertisements for ceramic detailing that could last up to a year. Is this recommended or does it ruin the paint?

I just bought my first Audi after driving Volkswagen Jetta manual transmissions for the past 20 years. It’s such an upgrade and I can’t believe how much I’ve missed out on. It is a 2021 year, Q5 TFSI hybrid, premium plus with premium bang and Olsen audio system(subwoofer) I was able to get it for $23,500 (before taxes) with 48,000 miles on it. All the fluid maintenance had been completed already, as well as spark plugs and new tires. But for some reason, I can’t tell if I got a good deal or not. I don’t know what type of things I should be expecting in the future for maintenance, cost, and true reliability expectations. Any pointers from people who have been lifetime Audi lovers? Is this a good deal or should I have gone with a high tier Tiguan?

Picked up a 2024 Q5 Premium Plus 45 S line with only 24,000 miles. Have only driven it 400 miles so far from dealership to residence but pretty happy so far.

Is there a specific filter brand that I should use or oem? Heard some conflicting info on it. Thanks.
