Hello! I feel really vulnerable posting this here but here it goes. My mental health has been in the toilet lately [several hospital stays and one 5150 stay] and due to that I was let go from my job. Because of that, money is super duper tight for me right now and im not sure if ill have enough food to get me through next week. I have AFRID, and because of that, going to the food bank is not viable for me because I have no control over what food they are going to give me. Rather than risking taking food from someone who would actually eat it , I made an amazon wish list. There are some pricier protein bars on there but those would be in replacement of meals. Even if you have read this far I appreciate it, thank you<3

So glad that your request was fulfilled. Just my 2 cents as a volunteer at my local food pantry, I'm sure if whatever food they have to give you that you don't have use for, you can just politely decline it. You don't want to miss out on all the food that they have available that you might need. I have guests decline specific items all the time but so happy about other items we are handing out.
