Hoverboard Powered Shopping Cart

Currently, I've come across 4 Hoverboard wheel motors. I'm in the planning stages right now for a project that I call "The Indy-Cart"! I'm trying to figure out how to develop a control box to manage acceleration and turning, that will fit on a shopping cart. Any recommendations?

Personally, I'd start from a Donkeycar design (https://github.com/autorope/donkeycar). Swap the components as you need to, and let it be an integration problem instead of a design problem!

I don't know how hackable hoverboard wheel motors are, but I'd expect they're quite torque-limited and sensitive. So you probably should look into buying some electric wheelchair motors.
