How do I get started

this question probably gets asked a lot, but anyways i started off wanting to do those fnaf animatronics because i thought they looked cool and i didn't think it would be that hard.. obviously i was wrong.

turns out this is WAYY more complicated than i thought and theres thing whole thing with robotics and coding and 3d models but anyways how do i get started in order to achieve this goal?
