Do you think Dem leadership is prepared for the inevitable attempt to steal the midterms and/or Trump's refusal to leave office when his term is up?

What are the Democrat's proposed policies? What are they going to do besides impeach Trump? (which is not a bad thing).

I am a voter who votes strategically, which means I've voted for Democrats my whole life, including George McGovern, because the alternatives are lunatics, but there has to be more to the Democratic Party than that. I'm looking at both the DNC website and the Democratic Party website, and all I can find are weak "What we stand for" statements.

Why hasn’t Haley Stevens campaigned with AES yet? She endorsed him but won’t campaign with him. Why?

Is she secretly wanting him to lose so she can run again next time? Will she try to use the “you see. AES can’t win in a general election” shtick if he loses to Mike Rogers?

Who/what should I be donating to? I'm overwhelmed with options.

I keep getting spammed by all these texts and emails urging me to donate to Democratic candidates and causes. It's gotten to the point where I'm blocking and reporting spam. But I can't help but wonder if there are legit options that I could be making a difference in donating (especially with after just hearing about Democrats losing in Illinois). What's your take?

Trump knows he will lose in the midterms. We KNOW what he is going to do. My Question is, once he does that--once he actually blocks the elections, what is the plan?

Why don't democrats make ads accusing republicans of being queer and such? Republicans have no problem lying in ads, and republicans would actually care that a republican is, even if it's a lie, queer.

Ideally nobody would use being queer as an insult, I'm trans and bi so I know this well, but clearly the Republicans are happy to make ads lying about Talarico and such. Why not make ads against republicans to the effect of "This man fucks male prostitutes" or whatever since conservatives are homophobic?

Has anyone watched the Jaime West Interview yesterday?

This is disappointing to see. I could be wrong. Let me know your thoughts. I am genuinely curious if it's a speech impediment or something else.

How do you end political gerrymandering?

I often see people list ending political gerrymandering as a top policy priority. How would this be accomplished?

Aren’t all congressional maps arbitrary in that they favor whoever is in power when the map is put in effect.

What does ending gerrymandering mean to you?

Would you support excising the filibuster to pack the court.

Would you want to see the filibuster banned, and if so would you also like to see an increase in the amount of Supreme Court justices?

Would you be worried what the republicans would do when they would inevitably win back power?

AZ Judges !

Does anyone know of a website, voter guide, or organization that ranks or evaluates AZ judges through a progressive lens?

Any recommendations or links would be super appreciated!

Hypothetically if trump loses the midterms, what does that mean for us? And what is going to happen moving forward?

I find it hard to see how he might actually pull of winning the midterms. His approval ratings are down, he had word vomit at his last rally and he’s trying to change the voting system. What. Is. Going. On.

California - Prop 4

Prop 4 is basically asking if we should use public funds to fund campaigns. A lot of left leaning groups are encouraging a Yes vote. Can someone please explain why? Are there already funds earmarked for this use? How much? What are the limits? I haven’t really found a convincing argument for either way.

Is the term "workers rights" code for Democratic Socialism?

I keep seeing a pattern on Reddit lately when people are touting a candidate that stands for workers rights, the candidate is usually a Democratic Socialist. I also just saw a post for Ohio politician Greg Levy saying "Join the Revolution, Send a Worker to the Senate." Interested in others thoughts.

Why doesn’t the Democratic Party in the US elect a leader *now* to provide a clear, prominent and eloquent opposition to the Trump presidency? Other countries do it, why don’t the Democrats start providing a high-profile, purposeful opposition rather than hiding and hoping that things will change?

What type of Senator does James Talerico he wants to be? (Is he ever a Democratic Socialist?)

I have a lot of conflicting questions about James Talerico ahead of the Midterm elections for Texas, and looking into him, he kind of seems like a nice guy promising pragmatism (such as referring to him negoiating to pass 60 bipartisan bills during his tenure as a State Representative in a Food Store Ad), judging by his appearance, (all that's subject to change). However, once he gets elected, we should talk about it.

During his campaign trail, he has a very moderate tone trying to appear like a Liberal yet progressive, appealing to both sides of the political isle for the Average voter, injecting Christianity and Jesus for political purposes in order to win over voters who felt alienated by Trump and the GOP. If you look into his policy platform, some of its Proposals include going after the billionaires and tax them to fund public services and safety nets, Medicare for Y'all, Money out of Politics, Abolish Super PACS, Term limits for members of Congress and Supreme Court Justices too, Reform ICE, Re-instating USAID and increase Co-operation with NATO, EU and other allies globally, as well as protecting the USMCA, a 2 state solution to the Israel-Palestine conflict, as well as all of the above energy policy.

However, there's criticism about Talerico, with concerns that his moderate act is just for the Camera Purposes only to win over votes. These include Voting Against banning CCP influence as a state representative, suspending the Gas Tax (these gas taxes are also used to fund the US highway system), as well as a resurfaced 2020 Zoom Call where he expressed that Capitalism is an Oppressive system that needs to be dismantled from within (The DSA policy platform basically wants to abolish Capitalism as a global system and advocated for a classless society).

Anyways, this is just my research. But I'd probably rank Talerico within the Elizabeth warren wing of the Democratic Party. (A Progressive Capitalist focused on Consumer Protection, who also played role in creating the CFPB. She was also one of the very few Progressive Democrats that voted in favor of the USMCA, despite her Previous Opposition).
