I've been searching for the team I'll be rooting for this season in the NFL (I don't follow it nearly as closely as I do the CFL), and posted this and learned about the new subreddit

Honestly, I am touched by the outpouring of positive energy on my post (after having done a similar thing on subs for the Lions, Bears, and Eagles in previous seasons and getting a pretty lukewarm response), so now I get why Toronto is such a Bills fandom.

Anyways, not sure if this is helpful to anyone or if this is frowned upon in this sub, but feels like Bills are a kind-of canadian team too!

Hey everyone, sharing our piece from Toronto’s win over Edmonton this weekend!

The Argos obviously got the big result: playoff berth secured, a home playoff game locked in and some revenge for that 30-point loss in Edmonton earlier this season.

What interested us more was how they did it. Chad Kelly and the passing game showed how explosive this offence can still be, while the defence kept Edmonton out of the end zone repeatedly despite giving up plenty of yards.

There are still some pretty obvious things Toronto will need to clean up before November, but beating a 10-win Edmonton team felt like a useful reminder of what their ceiling can look like.
