lost media

I made a previous post (linked) abut sharing an archive I made of cheezburger.com . In that archive, you'll find about 5k out of the 85k posts saved were empty of memes due to being primarily links to YouTube videos. So I redownloaded with video downloads enabled and the archive grew considerably. (166GB - 340GB) Same memes, but with a bunch of YT videos now too. So if anyone's interested, I can share it out to you. DM me for sharing details.

Title: Help finding a deleted YouTube manga recap video — ID: D0tvQzXfpbw

Hi everyone! I'm trying to find a deleted YouTube video about the manga Above Ten Thousand People.

The original video ID is "D0tvQzXfpbw". I watched it earlier this year, but it is no longer available.

I've been trying to find a surviving copy or an archive of the original video. Does anyone know of any archives, mirrors, or recovery methods I could try?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

fliplascripts videos from the 2024 all the way through maybe 2026 I’m not sure are now lost media and many others are now lost media if you know or have these videos please let me know all I was able to find was a wayback machine screenshot. Some of these include Insomnia 2, Shes Back, That’s not Midas 3, That’s not Doom, Don’t get storm sickness, rage quit 5, who am I, and Where is, the only video I saw again after the deletion of the video was a MSN.com reupload but that’s also been deleted and I unfortunately don‘t have any proof of that so you will have to take my word but I do have screenshots of the wayback machine snapshot I found today as I make this post.

yoo does anyone else remember lazar play deisim (vr god simulator) i couldve sworn he played that game. i was going through his old vids cuz he doesnt upload much anymore and i just couldnt find it. it was one of my favourite series of him. do yall know about it, and do you guys know more lazar lost media/deleted vids?

I am currently searching for a lost piece of web animation history and wanted to bring this to the community's attention. The original MapleStory sprite animation titled "MBR Vs Tray" by the animator ArundAnimations has been deleted from YouTube and is currently considered completely lost.

• Original Publication Date: December 10, 2012
• Original YouTube URL: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9i4yxnZMxok

The Wayback Machine only captured the dead URL's metadata but unfortunately did not scrape the underlying video file before it was taken offline. Because automated web crawlers missed it, the only way to recover this animation is through manual community preservation.

So i had a channel almost 2 years ago called SuperSonic64Bros [REBOOTED] Its handle is @sonicmarioangrybird6413 and it has a completed series on it called The Pokemon Plush Journey and everything on it is deleted although i have the channel id and url and the video urls here they are if you want to help me with some info you can! Thanks and have a nice day happy hunting.

The former was accessible and I did not think to make a backup and archive it.

Hello Everyone

CosCom for me, is the best resource I have ever found for learning the basics of Japanese, especially the Building-Up Conversations series, which covers the basics and includes audio recordings.

I’m looking for an archived full version that gives me access to the members-only materials.

If anyone knows where to find the full archived version of the site, please let me know.

Thanks a lot !

I’m referencing off a different post, but I’m trying to get this to reach as many people as I can!

Stumbled across this virtual singer streamer, Vampirate Odessa, the other month, her music and streams seemed fun and mostly wholesome, but she is leaving ("graduating") November 6 and is going to private everything except her official releases and possibly related music videos.

I was going try to archive as much as I can with yt-dlp, but I estimate I won't be able to get close to storing all 2 TB or so, as I don't currently have access to my main backup drive and even then it would be close.

I'm currently using the command: yt-dlp --write-description --write-info-json --write-thumbnail --download-archive VampirateOdessaVODsArchive.txt --write-link --write-subs https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLCtqlCLX45zDCjZp93wiTse_zLLb1oP-j --limit-rate 8M to grab some of the VODs, but I was wondering if anyone had any tips. I did see a GitHub ghist with quite a few flag employed, but there were so many I wasn't sure what to make of it.

And I was thinking I could maybe upload some of the videos to the Internet Archive, but IDK if her or her team would appreciate that.

I’ve always found Archive.org’s forums difficult to follow, so I made Archive Commons, a website that presents the same public discussions in a more familiar forum layout.

You can browse forums by topic, bookmark conversations, keep track of unread posts, and click usernames to browse their posts. There’s also forum search, although Archive.org’s search index can lag behind newer discussions.

No signup needed. Your bookmarks, followed forums, read history, and reply drafts stay in your browser. It’s an independent project; posting and replying still happen on Archive.org.

It’s early, and I’m going to keep adding features. I’d love to hear what’s useful, what’s confusing, or what you’d want next.

It is a "METRU NUI SUCKS" by essenger, but sky cotl version talking about sanctuary island and it's crabs, I first found out about watching one of episodes of "sky children of the light memes" by kronix

hey there!

I don't know a lot about the logistics of archival work — to me, this seems like it requires a lot of people downloading anything and everything before march 31st of 2027, so I was wondering if I could get some advice on how to archive as much of this website as possible before it all stops being hosted or where i'd even find help like that? for context, my best friend is really quite sad that this website they'd read comics on since they were twelve years old is about to just up and vanish, and I would be too — I thank whatever's out there for whomever runs sudomemo creating the flipnote hatena archive. I feel strongly about any art just up and disappearing really, so I was thinking I'd come here and ask the pros, haha. thank you for your patience!

edit 1: here's the announcement if it helps :( https://m.tapas.io/newsfeed/272

edit 2: OOPS somebody already posted about this. sorry!

Morphosource is a provider of 3D models. Yesterday I received an Email that their future of operation is uncertain. As it offers useful models of bones and others, I think it should be preserved, as soon as possible
