I found a series of schematics of this dig. I know it had to do with the “Armenian Garden” but that is about all. Can anyone else help me understand more about this dig and what they discovered?

Guidelines:

Please be respectful
Cite sources / primary sources if possible.
We will focus on Discovery over Theory
In cases where discovery challenges a major paradigm, there must be evidence grounded in historical and linguistic academia presented in a respectful way with a focus on correcting the scientific understanding and not inciting cultural disputes for its own sake.
Archeology the study of human culture based primarily on material remains and artifacts which are at a minimum 50 years old. For example: Dinosaurs while fascinating are not usually considered archeology and unless someone painted a dinosaur bone or etched their runes into it or something, it probably would be better to go to /r/Paleontology.

Identification posts require thorough background details. Where was it found? Who did you get it from? What specific city, region, country? How deep in the ground? What does it weigh? Is it magnetic? Radioactive? Is it from a dig site? Did you find it at the market? Are you a smuggler? I don't care, I'm not the police. Just let us know the background story.
