Media Went into pve mode to finish a quest and encountered this rat.

He placed a pulse mine at the top of the tower and made me fall. I knew what he was trying to do but wasn’t 100% sure about his intentions.
I kept talking to him on my way to the hatch. Once I called him out, he got mad so easily I think I hurt his fragile ego when I asked “Do you want my loot?”

I don't know why he posted this video acting like it was some type of 'victory'

It's embarrassing.

Very strange internet timeline we live in.

I left out the part where he asked if I had a survivor (pretending) because I didn’t want the video to be too long. This isn’t about winning or losing. It’s about how pathetic it is when people refuse to own up to their actions. If he had just admitted what he was doing, I would’ve respected him a little more. But even he seems ashamed of his own actions.

Oh my bad. I thought you were genuinely trying to argue a point. Turns out you’re just at the level of “you bad, me good.” Haha.

I mean in the end you made a video about him trying to do the whole "you bad, me good" yourself, but instead it shows he is living in your head rent free.

I doubt he really cared in the end since he did get you with Le funny meme trap

No, you just assuming, I’m just trying to understand how this guy thought I counted this as a victory.

Posting isn’t that hard. I just press 2 buttons on my controller to clip it and post it from my phone. It barely takes any time.
I also use Reddit to practice my English. I get to talk about something I like while improving my writing. I usually reply between raids when I’m checking my phone like any normal person.

Well, without full context what should we even assume?
All we have is this to go by, which you typed out - "Once I called him out, he got mad so easily I think I hurt his fragile ego when I asked “Do you want my loot?”"

"Hurt his fragile ego" is a type of belittlement usually, and in general, used by someone to build themselves up as 'better' than the one they speak of. Usually employed to signal their conquering over not only their foe, but also themselves for not going down to a level that is beneath them.

I don't mind being proven wrong, so let's settle it. Post the full thing.

Alright, I’ll admit my English isn’t that good, and “hurt his fragile ego” wasn’t the right phrase to use in this situation. I also wasn’t implying that I’m the good guy and he’s the bad guy. I’m just saying he got mad because he didn’t get to fully carry out his trolling plan.
Also, asking him if he wanted my loot was just my way of saying, “If you want me dead, just say so. I’ll surrender and move on to my next raid instead of wasting my time.”

Ok, see, never not trust yourself again with posting videos. I got genuinely invested. You are right, could have worded to post body differently. And in the end, respect! That "So, did you laugh" hit the spot. You were excellent! No slurs, no crying about it. See, this, in context, makes me understand what you meant by "Once I called him out". I've been that guy myself and I know exactly where it hit him when you didn't play into his game. The fragile ego. You were right. Thank you!

This is me shutting up about it, now. 🎬

I'm going off the comment on your initial post and the comment I replied to. But I will never knock anyone for trying to improve on themselves as that's always commendable.

Posting a video like this makes it seem like you're going for a "GOTEM" or "Look at this asshole" kind of deal, which is what lead to my comment.
