I have 5-6 Pygmy Sunfish (Elassoma evergladei) available, they are 4-5 months old. Only 1 male, rest are females. Photo of the mature coloured up male is their dad. These fish were raised on live food and all my adults eat live food only - they have refused all frozen food eg. daphnia, bloodworms etc. So if interested, you will need to have a baby brine shrimp hatchery set up, with additional cultures of grindalworms, daphnia, moina, etc. These guys were raised on vinegar eels, bbs, moina, grindalworms and daphnia. They need a heavily planted tank but does not have to be big - mine are kept in a 3 gallon cube.

Will also consider trade for Elassoma gilberti. Possible delivery to the Seattle area. $20 for one, $15 each for 2 or more.

We saved 6 from the Ostrich Festival back in March, adopted 4 out, but held onto 2 as we had an all-natural 29 gallon tank set up for them the next day. It’s not dire that I find a home for them right now, but they’ll need a home soon(ish). They’re still pretty small, but they’re beautiful and they’re so healthy now, considering we saved them from an Igloo cooler filled with hundreds of them where they had terrible ammonia burns and their fins were all janky. I love them like children so I just want to give them a good home. If any of you know of a place around Phoenix that would take them and care for them, please let me know!

Taking a photo of them that doesn’t look like the photos of people that have watched “the tape” in The Ring is nearly impossible. They’re pretty bonded. Baby Spice is the white and orange - don’t ask about the name… I was not sober at the Ostrich Festival when I named her. Raphael (like the ninja turtle because we saw Vanilla Ice at the Festival and they brought Raphael in true TMNT costume on stage to sing “Go Ninja”) is the all-orange one with the majestic fins. Baby was the runt of the 6 and Raphael always protected her and swam with her which is why I kept them both.

Good lord, I can never keep anything short and sweet. ANYWAY, I’m hoping to give them a better life in a pond or if someone has a giant tank… they’re amazing!

I'm going to be decommissioning my cherry breeding tank in the next few weeks and wanted to offer up the nicest of the stock to a new home. My best guess is that there's about 30 nice ones in there, maybe more. I'll be culling out to the skittles tank as I go to ensure you're getting the creme de la creme.

I'm rehoming my spare female Ivanacara bimaculata that I had in my 20 gallon with another female and male who have recently decided to pair up after entering their breeding coats because she is unfortunately being harassed relentlessly.

She is in excellent health, relatively plump, quite active and recently dewormed with Levamisole HCl (as part of my precautionary treatment plan for my tanks) so I'm sure she'll transition to a new tank just fine

I'm currently keeping her in a community tank where she has been behaving quite well, so she would fit in to a community tank just fine I'd think

No rehoming fee, but I will be asking for a photograph of the tank she'll be going into, a list of the tankmates that will share the tank with her, and hoping she goes to an experienced fellow hobbyist

One of my evergladei who I thought was female is actually a subdominant male, and I unfortunately don’t have space for him in my current setup.
