Here's the progress so far with healing. Almost no pain when I got it and zero complications so far. Really happy with the piercer and the result. Btw, It is completely simetrical when not twisted for a photo. Lol.

Any suggrstions about initial gauge or placement?

Ive been wanting to have one for years. What to expect?

I had much difficulty sizing up my piercing from 2,5 to 3,2mm until someone suggested the heatshrink tube method which worked flawlessly. I'm aiming at 4 or maybe 5mm as a goal size. What are your opinions about diameters? What advantages does 4 have over 5 or vice versa? What size were you pierced at? What is your goal size? Wait time between stretches?

I pierced it myself at 2,0mm and immediately stretched to 2,5, which went great. I've had it for almost a year now and I'm very happy with it. It's just that upsizing took a lot of effort and failed attempts.

I'm scheduled for a downsize next month. I'm wondering what bar size I should ask for. Currently I measured the distance between two holes to be 28mm. However, the lengths available are 28.5mm and 26.9mm. I would either be going slightly too long or slightly too short. Which one should I go with.
