Ukraine Loses Starlink Access as Musk Says Zelenskiy Went “Too Far”, Days After Ukranian Strikes on Russian Bot Farms Apparently Lowered Musk's Engagement on X

Is it possible that Starlink access was interrupted for personal reasons?

Oct 14, TNR reports:

"The disruption comes just days after Trump publicly criticized Ukraine for continuing to attack Russian oil refineries in the wake of the U.S. lifting sanctions on the sale of Russian oil, and called for the removal of  Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy.

Musk weighed in on Trump’s comments on social media Saturday, writing: “Zelensky has gone too far.”

October 13, from Futurism:

Eyebrows Raise When Elon Musk’s Twitter Engagement Shrivels After Destruction of Russian Data Centers

"The phenomenon may even be hitting close to home for certain billionaires. On Elon Musk’s Twitter-turned-X, users quickly noticed that the number of interactions the site’s owner was getting on his posts seemed to plummet in the wake of the strikes.

“Woah, Elon Musk out here getting less than 5k likes on his tweets after the bot farm got exploded,” YouTuber Zack “Jerry Rig Everything” Nelson tweeted. A screenshot appended to the post shows Musk receiving 4,900 likes after responding “Wow” to a racist conspiracy theory that claims Brussels, Belgium, is “only 10.5 percent white.”

On its face, the theory sounds pretty far-fetched. Could the destruction of a few Russian data centers really be tanking Musk’s engagement on his own platform?

But looking at the average number of likes his posts have been receiving does raise eyebrows. Throughout October, his posts garnered an average of between 17,000 and 81,000 likes per day — until the past two days, the averages slid to a dismal 11,000 and 8,000, respectively.

We certainly can’t determine a causal relationship, but the numbers are striking. And experts are paying attention."

Ukraine on a streak lately and honestly if trump is gonna give them shit for attacking fuel refineries this is probably the next best thing, especially 4 weeks before the most significant US election in decades, if not possibly ever, for both us, and likely Ukraine.

Trump Is Encouraging Airlines to Scam Passengers in Every Way Possible

Biden cracked down on carriers’ junk fees and hidden fees, flight delays and cancellations, and deceptive pricing. Trump is undoing all of that progress.

...

Last week, The New York Times revealed in depth how the Trump administration has halted or rolled back the Biden administration’s efforts to expand airline passengers’ rights. The Department of Transportation, under Secretary Sean “Golden Age of Travel” Duffy, killed the proposed cash compensation rule, which would have forced airlines to pay up to $775 per passenger when at fault for major travel disruptions; abandoned another proposed rule that would have forced airlines to be transparent about junk and other extra fees during the booking process; is moving to eliminate a long-standing requirement that the final ticket price be displayed most prominently; and is even delaying enforcement of a new rule that expanded rights for disabled travelers.

Biden’s DOT, under Pete Buttigieg, issued a record $225 million in fines against airlines for violating consumer protections. Duffy, a former airline lobbyist, also has yet to issue a single fine. In fact, he’s done quite the opposite, waiving $25 million in fines that had already been assessed. The consequences for passengers are clear: With airlines no longer worried about having to compensate customers for inconveniencing them, we’re now seeing the most delayed flights in over a decade.

This is part of a broader pattern; Trump is eroding customer rights not only in air travel but throughout the economy. For all his faux-populist talk of standing up for the common man, these efforts show that he’s much more intent on fighting for the corporate powers that have cozied up to him—and who make a tidy profit by annoying the hell out of us.
