Sociale, koop en huurwoningen op linkeroever.

Hi everyone,

I moved to Antwerp about 6 months ago. I’d already started job hunting before the move, so I’ve been at it for almost a year now.

A bit about me:

• I currently work remotely as a junior Business Analyst / Data Scientist, but the pay is very low, like my parents are helping me while I am here, so I’m looking for something more stable
• I have a bachelor’s degree in IT
• I speak English and French, and I’m learning Dutch intensively
• I’m a Swiss citizen, so I don’t need a visa or sponsorship to work here (do not judge, even If I am Swiss , doesn't mean automatically that I am loaded lol)
• I’m open to part-time or full-time work
• I’m hardworking, resourceful and open-minded, and I like helping people
• I have worked as a waitress, barista and in retail while studying.

What I’ve tried so far:

• Applying almost every day, for all kinds of jobs: waitressing, barista, retail and tech
• Walking into restaurants and coffee shops to hand in my CV in person

So far, everyone has said no.

I’m open to a lot of things, and honestly it’s starting to wear me down. If you’ve been in a similar spot here, or know places that are hiring, sectors that are more open to non-Dutch speakers, or anything I might be missing, I’d really appreciate hearing it.

And if you just have some good spirit to share, I’ll gladly take that too.

Ik ben opzoek naar zelfstandige elektricien waarmee ik 1 week kan meedraaien ik wil gewoon weten hoe het er naar toe gaat in 1 week de dagen op het werk zelf want ik heb er erg veel interesse in en wil zelf misschien een elektricien opleiding volgen maar zou graag weten hoe 1 week er daar uit ziet dus als ik bij iemand 1 week mag mee volgen zou ik het enorm appreciëren :) ik ben ook bereid om de handen uit de mouwen te steken en ol te helpen :) ik hoef ook niks terug in ruil.

Can somebody help me out to travel from Antwerpen train station to Eindhoven airport this sunday at 6 am. We need to be at the airport at 7-7:15. There is 7 of us with 7 backpacks and 1 suitcase.

Please help us out with any kind of info or an offer.
