Discussion What’s next?

I know I’m late to the party, but I just got my freedom, living on my own, my pc is in for repairs rn so I thought I’d boot up the old Xbox One, and put in my disc for Anthem, only to find out they put it down.

I feckin LOVED this game, I put hundreds of hours into it till I got bored, but it was so much fun, and honestly it hurts, this is the first game I’ve played where the servers are officially done, and it was one of my favorites.

A lot of other games I play where the player bases is either really small, or have had problems in the pass, which cause the player bases to make private servers, like the Northstar client. Have we made or do we have any plans to make private servers to keep running the game?

Some people are trying to reverse engineer it, but I don’t know how they are coming along.

Well that’s a relief at least, maybe once it gets back to full functionality we can start adding our own content and overhauls, like that promised Anthem 2.0. As long as BioWare doesn’t lawyer up, idk how that all works legally, the Northstar client has content that isn’t in base Titanfall, but it’s all in the game files, cut or unreleased things, but I can’t think of anything new.

Project Coda is working on it, search for it on this reddit forum and you’ll come across their discord

Personally I’m working on creating a sandbox where you could do whatever you want in the world of Anthem but to be honest our very best shot at getting the game back as it was is Project Coda

I wish any other company had this game it had so much potential i wish someone would make something similar but I think anthem ruined it to the point no one wanted to even come close to touching it. I loved doing raids with a few friends flying around ripping up enemy's

I saw someone mention a game that looked like Anthem and Destiny combined. I don’t remember the name, but it is only available on mobile and PC.

Yes I miss it too. What about Hyperscape though?

What is that?

This game had so much potential. The Storm javelin was my favorite class. Such a shame this game died due to a lack of content and support.

Progress is unfortunately slow, when they killed anthem, they killed it dead, deleted backups and everything, was almost a lawsuit about it, riding off the coat tails of the Destiny 2 Red War incident

Welcome to 2026 traveler. It's time to move on. Find a new game. I know this is a different genre, but Elden Ring is a game of the decade imo and I never played a souls game.

Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon is also a phenomenal game that can scratch a bit of the Anthem gameplay itch

No need to move on.

Armored Core 6. Great game, brutal first boss in the “tutorial” section.
