I really hope that DBS remaster will get the dub. We even got the dubbed ED theme already

Season 2 will arrive January 2027.

For me it is Bryce Papanebrook.

I don't know why people criticize him. Maybe it is because you can hear him in many projects (I guess?)

Regardless i don't get the whole criticizing think.

He comes from a family of voice actors. It was so sweet that he went with his dad Bob Papenbrook (rip) to power rangers setting when he was young and after that recording he wanted to become a voice actor.

And he did. It is also very touching when he refers to his dad to his interviews.

I don't have any problem at all listening him. He is one of these voice actors I don't have a problem listening even if it is too often.

Johnny Yong Bosch

I heard that originally he was an actor who played in power rangers.

In my country we don't have Fox so I never watched power rangers. I remember reading this in an article.

After power rangers, he said he did some voice over for a movie because of audio issues.

Then a producer approached him and told him to make an audition for a recording. Then he had his first anime role in Trigun.

Also I remember watching persona 4 the animation and it may sound crazy but I wasn't able to recognize that he voiced both Yu Narukami and Tohru Adachi.

I don't mind listening to him even if he is in too many projects.

Ps I also like when he works together with other voice actors I like for example with Bryce Papenbrook (for me personal underrated pair of vas working together) , with Kirk Thorton too.

I am fully capable of watcheing sub and for a very few select anime I will watch it subbed because I want to be as up to date as possible.

But if I am casually watching anime I can't for the life of me seem to want to ever watch subbed, I'm lazy and after work I don't want to read subs while trying to relax.

Dub feels passive, subbed feels active. And sometimes I want to smoke a joint and throw on a shonen or I'm just eating dinner and don't want to constantly rewind to see what I miss while eating.

Am I the only one?

I don't know if there been much discussion but I think David Reale va work as Kai in Beyblade is iconic. That the edgy/loner, complex character development that we saw as Kai develop for 3 season is iconic for the first quarter of 21st century anime.

So I just found this channel right now. Project PRISMation, which is basically a showcase for indie anime creators for the Japanese streaming service ABEMA. They have released three shorts thus far, all in January of this year. They have teasers for more shorts coming this December. All three of their shorts that they have released on YouTube are dubbed. Interesting watch if you want to check it out.

I know my own notes I made from my rewatch was Enrique, "the Italian pretty boy" the dub voice of the voice actor made him sound like he was a surfer boy from Southern California/Orange County than some Italian boy from Rome. At least Oliver dub voice they tried to make him at least a bit "French" when he threw French line or two, and at least did little sight seeing with Kenny and Tyson.

Enrique it was just generic "I'll fight you at my model Coliseum" and also the dub style they really try to make you want to laugh and mock him for being the "blonde pretty boy" and just with the girls but he is just cowardly when his bit beast attacked him

Inspired by this comment and post in particular: Dubbing “What Ifs”: Jujutsu Kaisen Funimation Dub

So let's assume that Funimation/Crunchyroll got the rights to Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and dubbed the series with a Texas-based voice cast. Given their track record with works like Dragon Ball, One Piece, and My Hero Academia, it's plausible that Funimation/Crunchyroll could have dubbed Demon Slayer as their next big cash-cow franchise and the fact that the anime has been streamed on Crunchyroll's service as well.

For the voice cast, it would be made up mostly of Texas anime regulars from Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston, alongside some bicoastal actors or even actors from the actual Demon Slayer dub. And like my previous posts, I'll list only major and/or notable enough characters here. So without furtherado....

I really am excited for the next arc of Toungen Anki.

And I am also glad for the second season of the detective is already dead.
