Gemini voice

Please tell me for the love of all that's holy there's a way to get a voice that doesn't include fake breathing noises and "sounds human". I just want a classic text to speak voice. I'm already mad enough they took away assistant and gave us a subpar product but I'm so close to getting rid of the whole thing if I cant. Does anyone else get genuine uncanny valley or goosebumps or shivers when they hear it , or is it just me?!

What gets me is when the voice just switch's to a different one on their own. the other day the weirdest thing happened and it went straight from one of the female presets to a male voice that I never heard before. It was a deep male voice that isn't part of their presets. Of course when I asked about it, she told me she understood why I was confused but that isn't possible lol. That being said the 10 preset voices are much better than where this all started with one assistant voice, but I think it ended up being eight before it started being shut down. To answer your question though from what I understand. When using Google AI studio there's 30 presets available, and something like 2000 with Google API

If you want classic TTS voices, use classic TTS programs.

You're not forced to use Gemini or the voices (I agree that in many ways it's wank), but you can install other programs that do similar. Google up "Android alternatives to Gemini".. or ask Gemini 😉
