Just curious

Burmese Amber Braceḷet

(video in comments!)

I have a fair number of them from a bracelet, I am quite sure it's real amber as I was told so when this was given to me as a gift, and also because the beads float in salted water.

I tried checking with a UV light, I couldn't see any glowing but it's a UV resin light so it emits a purple light as well when on, and not sure about wave range etc

How much could they be worth? I don't know much about amber and I am quite confused by seeing both very cheap and very pricey real amber bracelets online.

Thanks!

The UV light brings out the amazing colors 😍

Is SOFIRN SR15 UV or  Sofirn SF16 better for Amber searching?

polished baltic amber from lithuania ~~ shown first in a sunbeam through a window, and then outside in direct sun

I’ve never seen anything like this. The antenna is odd as well as the head shape. What could this be? I’m totally lost.

I was curious how much you guyz would've pay for this kind of piece because a friend told me i over pay! It was 75 bucks! I cant remember where it from 🫣🫣

I have been wanting an amber with inclusion for quite a while now and got copal which still makes me happy but doesnt check the amber from my wanted list 🫣🫣

I have a small collection of amber fossils they have spiders flys wasps and cockroach inside looking to either sell piece by piece or As a bulk for a good price anyone interested? Approx 40 pieces

I see very pretty pieces of amber but they are not drilled, I want to wear them them as amulets, pendants. Espesh a 5cm big piece.

( I don't own any from the pics , they jusy look pretty, ref. : bugs direct, ukfossils, ambertreasure4u)

Was at a local market that only happens once a year in the HRM area and stumbled across this beautiful piece of resin, I went back to this piece 3 separate times and decided to buy it for $60 (CAD). I’ll be honest the first few times I looked at it I really thought it was fake but the last time I looked at it closely it seemed real (not much to go on), I did the simple uv test but that’s about it the front glowed pretty well and the back it was more splotchy.

The vendor does not specialize in amber but just had a piece in their cabinet.

Burmese Amber

Hey there guys, I stumbled across a piece of amber in a antiques store today. I took it home and polished it. I‘m not an expert but I think I just hit a very very cool find. Can anyone ID the buggies inside? Thank you :)

Rare to find in baltic amber. Both have a lenght of approx 18 mm

it was like $25

I was tempted but know nothing about amber. I am very eager to go back but it’s an hour away and they were asking 600.

It’s set in 14k gold as well. What would something like this be worth?

I have a small display of things dedicated to my all time favorite movie, Jurassic Park. I have an Ian Malcom Figure, an Ellie Satler figure, and a Mr. DNA Funko Pop (The only funko pop I'll ever own).

I want to complete this display with a piece of included amber. I'm not foolish enough to believe i can have a full mosquito like in the movie, but I'd love to find a piece of amber with an insect or other similar inclusion for under $50. It doesn't have to be large either, it would be in a display.

Is this an uneducated pipe dream? Should I adjust my expectations significantly?

If not, where should I be looking?

Hallo zusammen,

Danke schon mal!
