Package due three days prior

I got this as stop 33 on a route from my SSD on Oct 11. As you can see, the package is numbered (not AAA, BBB, etc.). The time due was 8 a.m. on Oct. 8. There was no such package in my car, but more to the point, it shouldn't have even been on my itinerary. I got Support to mark the package missing, but this is one of the weirder things I've encountered in the app.

Im new to this this sub, but is it just me or the past few months they’ve been adding made up stuff to my standings. The 6 late deliveries on top, bs, the 1 Incomplete also bs I delivered everything, the customers not receiving stuff I have like one of these pop up every week and when I hit up support I get “our decision hasn’t changed” or “we’ve made exceptions” even thoughts it’s their own mistakes

Punishment for accepting then immediately canceling

Everything about this job is so fucking stupid. There is literally zero advantage to this over just going full time at retail, which Im finally getting this month, but jesus fucking christ. I grabbed a block (while quickly tapping because it's competitive here) which I then dropped immediately upon seeing that it wasn't a time I wanted, maybe all within the span of under a minute, and now this.

We are not supposed to contact customer at all unless passcode it’s required

  1. We are not supposed to contact customer at all unless the app requires a code for package to be delivered
  2. Again we are not supposed to contact customer at all costs unless the app requires a code for packages to be delivered

Is it just me or have you noticed that Flex makes you drive the most miles out of any gig app?

I pretty much have the Infinity Stones of gig apps - Uber, Spark, Lyft, Shipt, Instacart, Flex, Doordash - and out of all of these apps, I feel like Flex makes me drive the most miles. I'm constantly driving from Dallas to West of Fort Worth as if it's a walk in the park. Probably a regional issue but this is my experience.

But one positive thing about flex, I love getting those free blocks when they happen.

Question Does this happen to anyone else?

I feel like more than 50% of the time I’m doing Amazon Flex, they make me deliver to house that has a private driveway where it’s nearly impossible to turn around in. That’s why I usually just park alongside the road and walk up it instead, not caring how far it is.

I’m glad to finally be making extra bucks on the side now after being on the waitlist for months, but this is one thing that really annoys me.

Help late delivery’s and overtime

I had a block tonight for 3 hours. it was far from the station, the clusters were all over the place in the area, and many of them were all rural (so pitch black, rough roads, etc). Not only were 9 of my deliveries late, but i went almost an hour and a half over.

I tried talking to chat support and they wouldn’t do anything about the late deliveries, but said they forwarded my request for pay adjustment to the correct team. is there somewhere else i should message? an email?

Literally nothing and when there is something it gets scooped up faster than you can click it. Bots or is there that many people now? I remember being able to pick and choose your blocks now it’s grab it first then review it..

$207 on gas in ONE WEEK. And I drive a freaking HYBRID 💀

Post image
160 Upvotes

Man, these gas prices are getting ridiculous.

I drive a hybrid and somehow spent $207.66 on gas in just one week. Between Flex and DD I put almost 800 miles on my car. 800 freaking miles lol.

I knew I was spending more on gas lately, but damn, seeing the actual numbers for the week kinda pissed me off.

$1,545 sounds like a pretty good week, right? Then you realize over $200 went straight into the gas tank. That's $800+ a month just on gas. And that's before tires, maintenance and all the other crap.

And here's what really got me. Two weeks ago I made almost the same money working about 44 hours. This week? 54 freaking hours. Ten extra hours for basically the same paycheck. WTF.

Almost 800 miles, 54.5 hours, and after gas I'm down to around $24.50/hr. And my car doesn't exactly maintain itself for free.

Seriously starting to wonder how much longer this makes sense.

Be real. Would you still do this for $24–25/hr after gas if it meant putting almost 800 miles on your car every week? Or what's your cutoff where you just say screw it, I'm staying home? 💀

Why do they keep saying I am missing deliveries, but I am making them? Now I am at risk?

Are the four-hour routes back at Irvine VAX1?

Post image
2 Upvotes

Well, this is surprising. I just received a Level 4 reserved offer for a four-hour route for $94 at Irvine VAX1. I haven’t seen a four-hour route since they changed the route lengths and lowered the pay.
Do you think the four-hour routes are coming back? This might be a good sign, unless it’s just temporary because of Prime Day. Has anyone else gotten one?

Has anyone used Carvertise?

Just got my first "Campaign" with them. You use your car for advertisement. They put a wrap with a specific company's name. The wraps are all different sizes, depending on the job. This one is my "Lets see how you do". In terms of how much and where you drive. Some jobs (rare) pay up to $1000 for the month. Mine is $100 a month for 5 months. Basically a door size sticker on each door. Not much but it'll pay my internet bill for 5 months. We'll see how it goes after that.

Action Required Email from Flex, Account affected by recent Community Delivery

I just got this email days after the community delivery from a food bank. That block was horrible, trailer park, gated community and group ordering at an adult home. But i managed to drop all of them, only thing I could think of is that one of the address had no number, so I followed the app.

But talking to customers service seems like they cannot appeal anything but just leaving a message on my account. 😂

Am I cooked, my account goes to deactivate in 10 days?

Flex was fun but this was a bad trip, especially most of the food bank deliveries are just too nice to be eligible plus they have multiple cars in front. I would stay away from community run if I get through this 🤡.

Being sent back after block to collect more packages

Has anyone ever picked up their block, finished the route then got told by the app to go all the way back to the station to pick up even more packages?

I don't know what is going on with Amazon Support lately but its shocking. I have been delivering with Amazon for 7 years. Whenever I get a message, I appeal it, and a human always responds. But now you appeal. You get an automated response saying tough and the decision will not be changed.
I contacted them at the time. I picked up my route, drove 50 minutes away and while I was delivering my packages, the station decided to add more packages to my route when they finally caught up since they have been behind with picking every day by upto 1.5 hours.

My block ended at 17:15, by the time I got back to the station its 17:14 and yet they expected me to collect the packages and drive 50 minutes away to deliver them to the same area I already delivered. They are not even giving any extra money for fuel.

I even got alot of negative marks on my account for not scanning returns in the app. I told them over and over for months that the returns address on the app is incorrect. The station is not the address they want me to take the returns to so the app does not let me scan to do returns and again support tell me the decision has not been changed when appealing. You would think they would know where their own station address is!

Only getting offers from stations over an hour away from me – SF/Bay Area

Hi! I just got off the waitlist and I'm only receiving offers from stations in SF/peninsula area, which is an over an hour commute from me, when I'm based in the east bay. I know that there's stations in Richmond, Oakley, Livermore, San Leandro that I'd prefer to pick up from. I've been contacting customer support multiple times this past week and keep receiving the same answer of having to unlock level 2 or whatever tf that means. I just need answers. Do I just thug it out and do the offers until I reach level 2? When I do reach level 2, will I even begin to get offers from stations closer to me? Or do I have to request to change regions? PLEASE HELP IM BEGGING

New with left over packages.

Can someone tell me if they have experienced this? I had the numbers route, and it started skipping numbers for packages (14)that I had. I assumed it was a change in the navigation, but after package 41, the route ended. I called support, they referred me to a more experienced person, who told me to call back later. After going home (it was late). I called back, no one answers. I called the next morning from work, and was told a ticket is submitted, just drop back off without scanning. Why were packages skipped, and will I be penalized for dropping of the next evening unscanned?

Cannot access tax forms because of deleted account

My Flex account was accidentally deleted and it has been an experience with Flex support. I need to access my tax forms but no one can seem to find them because the profile was deleted. I have to believe that somewhere in the system Amazon has those records.

Does anyone have any experience with this? If you were able to access your tax forms, how were you able to? Thanks y'all for your help!
