Station closure?

Post image

Today was the first time that I went to my station and there was a sign for closure. However upon talking with support they couldn’t guarantee that I would get paid and also that this could affect my standing.

Has anyone else had this issue and what happened.

Psa. Bad customers will get you deactivated.

Im done with amazon this is the final straw. I only use another safe location for unsafe stops, delivery boxes marked amazon or closed gates. The customer stated they did not recieve the package and amazon didnt accept the location. Their gate was locked with a bolt lock, not sure what amazon wants from us, pay us half rate for 120 miles down the worst dirt roads in the country just to get attacked by aggressive doga encounter crackhead thieves and have guns pulled on you for delivering packages. Shitty customers stole the package now amazon blames me im done with this shitty company. No support line no evidence, no pleading your side, ding you for delivering to their standard or ding you for returning. Everyone will get deactivated eventually just takes one thief.

What’s going on with VMA2?

I don’t know if anyone is in the area of VMA2, but I’m noticing there’s less orders than normal. I can’t seem to get a block the same day, I have to get it 3 days prior. And even that it’s hard, there’s no more 4+ hour blocks. I used to see so many same day blocks before. I don’t know if I’m the only one experiencing this in my area or is it also the same case nationwide?

Account deactivated

Recently received an email about my account and not delivering all packages when I finish a route early it always tell me to go back to the station to pick up more packages but I was told by support to ignore the APP glitches, now my account is deactivated and I was in Fantastic Standings. I called the number spoke to someone says it’ll take 2/3 days to complete but I received another email less than 24hrs stating that the decision stands for deactivation WTF 🤬

Dangerous route with Bundled Packages blocks away

I just kicked a curb the hardest I ever kicked one as it was literally the 3rd or 4th stop where I was carrying multiple packages where I was forced to scan and be prepared to deliver both of them where the two packages were several blocks away from one another. Then, I had the photo-taker screen on as I drove minutes away to the next stop. Good riddance. This on top of hundreds of pounds of stuff, a lot of it liquid and water actually, that I couldn't even finish delivering because so many instructions on the GPS were wrong, on top of no signal, and non-working gate codes and unlock buttons. Seriously, whoever designed this WANTED me to get injured. And honestly, it ALWAYS happens after you had a morning block where the algorithm sent you home. Just don't even come back if you are allowed to go home for a day. They'll set you up on a route that is near impossible to finish, and maybe even put you at high-risk of injuring yourself, asking neighbors and other deliverymen or property staff to let you in everywhere while wondering in the middle of a delivery how the hell you are going to be in multiple blocks at once and still be able to see what you are doing, walk straight, and take separate photos of packages that aren't even going to be delivered within a mile or so of one another. NEVER take any more blocks after you get the freebie!

Tampa What to expect?

Is my first week delivering with flex, I just want any tips for my first time doing it. I’ve seen some people on here say that they sign up for three hours slot and then ends up being five. Any tips or anything I should know to maximize getting the most out of this app would be great.

Flex Experience so far

Alright so I don’t have a job I lowkey just use my car fulltime to make money right now, I have been doing this for like 3 months since i quit my previous job I just doordash and do amazon flex. Flex has been a mixed experience I realized amazon really don’t gaf about where they sending you they jus gonna send you wherever like places where you don’t get no signal and can’t take a picture, so whenever that happens to me I don’t even deliver the package if I lose signal I just go back to the warehouse later because it literally wastes almost an hour of my time trying to call support telling them I dropped the package off and couldn’t take a picture, so I guess if you are going from doordash or uber eats to amazon flex i would say don’t force yourself to deliver every package because sometimes its actually impossible to locate the house. And thats mostly because they send you to like unfamiliar back roads areas 1 hour away from your house sometimes.

Why are their so many orders now to pick from? Did they finally get rid of bots? In NJ there are so many opportunities now. I’m guessing the gas prices.

Discussion Amazon Flex Drivers: Be Aware of the Driver’s License Verification Issue

Thumbnail

I recognize that the topic I’m about to bring up has already been mentioned in other threads however, I don’t feel it has gotten the attention it deserves. So please bear with me while I elaborate on the subject…

I’ve been driving for Amazon Flex since 2021. Recently, my driver’s license expired, so I renewed it and completed Amazon Flex’s updated license verification process, including the facial recognition scan. Everything appeared to go smoothly, but more than 24 hours later, my account was still showing as “Temporarily Disabled,” while my verification status remained “In Progress.” At that point, I was unable to do anything further in the app to resolve the issue.

After the second day, I began contacting support for assistance. Unfortunately, my experience with chat support was incredibly frustrating. It felt like asking Alexa a straightforward question and receiving a completely unrelated answer.

After carefully explaining my situation, the first representative responded by telling me that my driver’s license had expired and pasted a scripted response explaining how to update my license and complete the verification process. This was particularly frustrating because I had just explained that I had already completed those steps and that my verification was stuck “in progress.”

The representative then told me that the process could take up to two days. When I pointed out that more than two days had already passed, I was told that my question had been answered, that nothing further could be done, and that the chat would be ended. The representative promptly disconnected the conversation.

This happened twice, so I decided to call support instead.
Thankfully, I eventually spoke with someone who acknowledged what was actually happening. I was told that Amazon was experiencing a known issue with its facial recognition software, resulting in a backlog of driver’s license verifications. The representative said my case would be escalated and that I should receive a resolution within two days.

That was four days ago. Nothing has changed.

I contacted chat support again and experienced the same cycle: another representative sent me instructions for updating my driver’s license, despite my explanation that I had already completed the process, and then ended the conversation shortly afterward.

I called support again today. This time, the representative once again acknowledged that the problem was on Amazon’s end but told me that my case could not be escalated until at least seven days had passed since I submitted my verification.

That directly contradicts what I was previously told about my case being escalated. Based on the latest information, I have serious doubts that the promised escalation ever happened.

I’m sharing this experience to make other drivers aware of the situation, particularly anyone currently onboarding with Amazon Flex or attempting to update an expired driver’s license. If your verification is stuck at “In Progress,” your account is temporarily disabled, and you have already completed all the required steps, you may be dealing with this same issue.

Based on what support has told me, I would recommend keeping track of when you submitted your verification and following up once seven days have passed. Unfortunately, contacting support before then may result in little more than repeated scripted responses and wasted time.

Meanwhile, I cannot pick up delivery blocks, which means I’m missing out on income opportunities through no fault of my own. And I’m clearly not the only driver experiencing this problem.

Amazon apparently knows there is an issue with its verification system, yet drivers are left waiting without a clear resolution or reliable communication. There seems to be very little urgency in addressing a problem that directly affects our ability to work.

This experience reinforces my growing concern that Amazon does not adequately value or consider the circumstances of its Flex drivers. Many of us depend on this work to help support ourselves and our families. We aren’t necessarily doing this just to fill spare time or earn a little extra spending money. For some of us, this income matters.

I understand that Amazon can attract plenty of new drivers. However, that doesn’t mean experienced drivers should be treated as disposable.

Drivers who have been doing this for years understand how to organize packages efficiently, manage delivery routes, meet block deadlines, and complete deliveries with minimal issues. That experience has value. Reliable, experienced drivers contribute to the overall efficiency of the operation, and they shouldn’t be taken for granted simply because there are always more people willing to sign up.

I’m also concerned about the fact that I’ve now contacted support multiple times and expressed my frustration. After reading other posts from drivers who say their accounts were deactivated with little explanation, I can’t help but wonder whether repeatedly raising legitimate concerns could somehow put my own account at risk.

I have no evidence that my account has been flagged, and I’m not claiming that it has. But the fact that I even have to worry about that while trying to resolve a verification problem that Amazon itself acknowledges is frustrating in its own right.

Drivers shouldn’t have to choose between speaking up when something goes wrong and worrying that doing so could jeopardize their ability to earn a living.

Hopefully, sharing this will save other drivers some time and frustration and bring more attention to an issue that needs to be resolved. We deserve accurate information, meaningful support, and a reasonable level of accountability when a system failure prevents us from working.

Whew… that’s all for now.

May your routes be smooth, your packages be organized, your support tickets actually get resolved, and your accounts stay active. Be safe out there, Flex drivers. 🚗📦

Advice please

There’s an SSD I like to work from except there’s one problem… both stalls in the one women’s bathroom are almost always filled with floor workers talking on their phones for ten or fifteen minutes, so we usually can’t go before delivering a route. A few people have spoken to supervisors on the floor and they just say they’re not surprised or they’re not supposed to do that. But then they do nothing about it.

Do you guys see this in your stations? Should I say something? I guess if there’s no rule against, they’re not doing anything wrong. Just curious what you guys think.

Pay out possible or no

Showed up at 2:20 for my 2:30 block, initially the app loaded, and attempted to scan my face, all on Amazon WiFi, it gave me 2 fatal errors and didn’t work when I pressed retry…

I restarted the app, blue screen, restarted my phone, blue screen no loading, I have multiple screenshots from 2:22 to 2:40 where the app just doesn’t load… even a screen recording showing my location being at the warehouse as well as me attempting to load the app and it crashing.

What are they odds they out this block?

I’m not letting myself in to someone else’s house especially if they’re not expecting me and end up being home, I hid it around some trash cans and went on my way, since they were so worried about it.

Help Anyone else deactivated over delivered packages showing as "Unknown" returns? 17 reps, ~30 emails, every instruction followed, still deactivated

I've seen a few others here posting about this exact issue, so I want to put my full experience in one place and find everyone it's happening to. If enough of us document it, it's a lot harder for Amazon to call it driver error.

I was doing Amazon Now blocks out of a Phoenix-area station (ZAZ3). Starting around Oct 6, packages I delivered (scanned, photographed, app said "delivery complete") started showing up on my Returns screen as items I had to return, every one listed as "Unknown." I had nothing to return. Every package was delivered. I reported it to support the first day, when there were only 2. The list kept growing with almost every block: 2, then 5, then 10, then 17.

Here's what I did over 6 days:

- 3 phone calls to Driver Support on 3 straight days. Every call: "I'm escalating this."

- At least 4 in-app chats

- About 30 emails to Driver Support, the Escalations team, Executive Relations, and [jeff@amazon.com](mailto:jeff@amazon.com)

- Cleared app data and cache when they told me to

- Sent package IDs, block dates, screenshots, and two Standing History Records

- Reported every new phantom item as it showed up

At least 17 different Amazon reps touched my case. Here's what some of them told me:

- "We will remove the incident from your standing."

- "Don't worry. Your standing will update within 48 hours."

- "If any issues are identified that require correction, we will take appropriate action to resolve them promptly."

- "No action is needed from you."

Not one of them fixed it.

My own Standing History Record showed Great with zero issues through Oct 5. The Oct 12 record showed my At Risk standing came entirely from 5 packages marked "did not attempt to deliver" on Oct 6 and 7. I delivered those packages, and the same 5 were counted again as unreturned. I also had an Instant Offer where the app sent me and at least 3 other drivers to pick up a package that didn't exist. Amazon admitted that one was beyond my control.

This morning I got deactivated while the Escalations team was still telling me they were investigating. Appeal is filed.

What this actually cost:

This wasn't pocket money. I'm the only earner in my household, and this income helped keep us afloat. Now my family is scrambling to cover bills and I can't afford my doctor's appointments. That's because of an error that Amazon's own records show, that 17 of their people were told about in writing, and that not one of them fixed.

Amazon calls us "delivery partners." A partner would have looked at the evidence before cutting someone off. I did every single thing they asked. They did nothing, then deactivated me while saying they were still investigating.

IF THIS HAS HAPPENED TO YOU, PLEASE COMMENT OR DM ME WITH:

- Your city and station, if you're comfortable sharing

- Amazon Now or regular Flex blocks

- When it started

- Whether the items show as "Unknown" on your Returns screen

- Whether your Standing History Record shows "did not attempt to deliver" for packages you delivered

- Whether you were moved to At Risk or deactivated

- Whether an appeal worked, and what you said

Even a quick "same thing here" helps. The more of us there are, the clearer it is that this is a system bug and not us.

If you're on Amazon Now right now:

  1. After every stop, check that your itinerary shows the stop as delivered, and screenshot it.

  2. Request your Standing History Record and save it.

  3. Don't trust "rest assured" from support. Get everything in writing.

TL;DR: Delivered every package, reported the problem on day one, followed every instruction, talked to 17 reps, and got deactivated anyway while they were still "investigating." If delivered packages are showing up as "Unknown" returns for you too, please comment so we can show Amazon this is a system problem

Los Angeles I just got approved and missed my first 2 blocks by 1 minute

I scheduled a block yesterday afternoon and when I arrived, it was 4 minutes late when I parked and I had to verify my identity, by the time I finished, the app said I missed my block. This morning, I scheduled another block, I thought I would arrived on time but there was a really long line and I parked 3 minutes late. I tried to tap "I've parked" but my app was having bad service and by the time I got on the app, it was too late. Twice I missed my block by 1 minute while I was in the parking lot

I'm hoping I don't get dropped before I even get to complete a single block. I see other posts about people being late to their first block but I missed my first 2. I have another block scheduled later today

Got a block taken from me today

Around 3:30pm I was tappin and saw a 4:30-7:30 for $90. The offers were light today so I was quick to snag it. I left my house immediately but about 10 mins into my drive I got a notification from the app and clicked it, at the last second before the app fully opened I caught a glimpse of what the notification said

Something about an “update to my schedule”

So I immediately go to the calendar tab and see my block I just took and spent time and effort trying to snipe out was canceled.

Never seen or heard of this before 🤔
