For me, a young millennial whose parents were boomers who didn't listen to anything new after 1980, it was discovering hits collections at Target and on iTunes. Those made me learn about songs that weren't the same 10 ones played on the radio.

I keep diving into music from between 10 and 20 years ago. Some older bands seems to be still around but we lost some real classics in-between.

• Talk Talk (one older band I miss)
• The Open
• And They Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead
• Idiot Pilot
• Nine Black Alps
• School Of Seven Bells
• Friendly Fires
• The Sundays

You must have some too. I want to find some undiscovered classics...

Put this out last year - give it a spin if you want!
