Wine tasting groups

Hello fellow wine lovers. Just testing the waters to see if there are any good wine tasting groups/clubs active in the area? If not, I wanna see if there's perhaps interest in forming one. I'm thinking of doing a once a month get-together showcasing some good wines and good vibes. Will obviously need a venue, etc but will deal with those things down the road..

I wonder if the wine shops or the new wine bar would welcome your interest and help you organize maybe a monthly meet up. I love these sort of social/community iniatives!

Yeah... That would be awesome.. I'll try to see if I can speak to some of the managers of some places.. never know.. they might support the initiative

Not that I know any. I assume there are some events organized by shops like Beauvin. Would be nice to have something happening.  Also, there is a new wine bar opening near de Boom soon.

Good to know the place is getting some new wine bars. I'm more looking for a tasting group/community.. folks that wanna get together to discover and learn more about wines on a regular basis.

Er is een wijngaard in Zuid Scharwoude. Ik vermoed dat je daar genoeg wijn kan proeven en meer kan leren over wijnen. En er zijn verschillende wijn winkels in Alkmaar, dus je zo daar eens kunnen kijken of er evenementen zijn.

Something to look into.. doing vineyard visits would also be cool. Would be interesting to see how the winemaking process differs in the Netherlands given the climatic conditions. Once again.. I'm not so much looking for a place where they offer wine tastings.. I'm looking to see if there are any ppl getting together, tasting together, geeking out about the wines and learning together...
