Rules :

Alaskan Malamutes Only! Purebred and mixed-breed dogs with malamute ancestry are welcome here - please just use the appropriate post flairs! (If you are unsure, use the flair : “Is this a Malamute?”)
No Reposts / Karma Farming. Please only post content of your own dog, or a dog you have express permission to share. If posting an image you found online, source it as accurately as you can. If you believe your post has been removed in error, feel free to message the mods for further review.
Animal Welfare & Responsible Ownership. No graphic content. No posts or comments that promote, normalize, or glorify animal harm or irresponsible husbandry / handling practices. Only humane, evidence-based care, training, and management advice may be shared. Content that misrepresents Alaskan Malamute behavior - including portraying severe aggression, dangerous behavior, or management failures as inherent, inevitable, or typical breed traits - may be removed. Individual experiences do not define the breed.
Health & Medical Advice is Limited. Community advice and personal experiences are welcome, but please remember that anecdotal examples cannot replace a proper diagnosis and / or treatment plan from a licensed veterinarian. If asking for advice, include relevant details (age, sex, history, etc.) so replies can be more helpful.
No Commercial Content or Self-Promotion. You may post handmade artwork or craftwork if it is related to the Alaskan Malamute, but not if your intention is to sell the item or to promote your personal business. Please do not promote your other social media accounts, via usernames or links, either. Do not post advertising your dog for potential breeding services, or post about a litter of puppies you have for sale.
No asking for money. This is not the place to ask for financial assistance for a sick or injured animal. No donation / GoFundMe links or requests.
No AI generated content.
