I moved to Al Ain a few weeks ago and started renting an apartment on 20th of September. My electricity bill for September came on Oct 2. There is a municipality fee of 269 dhs which I don’t understand. My actual bill for 10-12 days is just 89 dhs but the extra charge is making the total 357. Is there anything I can do about this? Do I need to pay this charge every month? I also paid 1000 dhs at the time I started renting, which was some sort of deposit. TIA!

So I have started a small business the story is long and sad but I don’t want to share so people will get sympathies with me I just want to ask if this can happen. I always feel very sad for the Talabat delivery riders and most of them are very good too. As much as they are struggling I am too in the same position. From beginning of my life I never had I
A chance to take decisions of my life. I was always forced to do things. My dreams had no value in front of the people around me. For this business I waited a lot I didn’t have money so I started a faceless YouTube channel and after 2 years continuously uploading videos I finally got views and subscribers, for 4 years I worked so hard and had enough money to start my cookies business. Luckily the business is doing great first time in my life I saw results sooner than expected. Usually I will struggle for years to see the results. I don’t mind hard working. Currently I work 12 hours to run this business alone from marketing to supply to baking everything. The problem is that I’m from home and small so the riders don’t take me seriously and if they don’t want to deliver to certain locations they will fake their location for a while and show waiting in front of my house and once it’s late they come pick and when it gets late the order get cancel I have to be blame and charge plus my vendor ranking getting bad. Even though I’m very strong and hard working but sometimes I want to cry. They talabat team is very nice but how will they know how these guys playing smart I couldn’t believe some of them can be this harsh. I understand they might be having a problem but why drag me down. Why can’t they think I’m in the same position as them. I’m not a big organization nor a big restaurant I don’t even have budget to rent a proper location. So if anyone can suggest me what to do. Or if how to tell my customers it’s not my fault for late orders or cancel orders. When I prepare an order I do it with great love and care I throughly want them to have the best experience possible. It breaks me so much when an order get cancelled. As I wrote earlier my story is extremely sad and heart wrenching but I will never share for sympathy I will share one day for inspiration. It’s long and painful. It’s a constant struggle but not once I thought to give up. I just want my customers to know I care and I try my best to deliver the best.

Hi everyone!
I’m looking for a studio or private accommodation near Al Noud (Shirkat), Al Ain, preferably with an attached bathroom and a private kitchen.
My budget is around AED 1,500–1,800 per month.
If anyone knows of any available places or has a landlord’s contact, please let me know.
Any leads would be appreciated. Thanks!

I'm based in Al Ain, UAE, and I have two monitors: a 34-inch curved ultrawide and a 27-inch flat monitor, both black.
I'm looking to get their exterior casings professionally changed to white, preferably through high-quality painting or wrapping.
I want a clean, factory-like finish, not something that looks DIY. Ideally, the work should be durable, with no damage to the screens, ventilation, or internal components.
Does anyone know a reliable shop or someone experienced with this kind of work in Al Ain?
Would appreciate recommendations or advice from anyone who's done something similar!
