Yes I know its only been like a week, and were all still getting through the sick. But I miss the music, screaming, fun costumes and memories. Post-aftershock depression if you will.
Anyway, I know a few of these bands frequently play, or maybe there overdone. But honestly, this is just my opinion and im curious what others are hoping for!
Korn, three days grace, get scared, Julia wolf, Lindsey Sterling, Julia wolf, paramore, slipknot (or stone cold if people are still alive) , radiohead, (i know they played this year, but it was super cool) insane clown possie, falling in reverse, blink 182, radiohead, ajr, RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS! And honestly so many others.
P.s. I dont think any of these are particularly controversial however I don't particularly stock the bands I listen to, so I don't know that for a fact.
Update 1: Thanks for the comments, I didnt know RHCP was writing some questionable things into his songs.
Ive seen alot of comments mentioning diversity, in both local bands (I dont remember who, but whoever said an additional stage for local, smaller Sacramento bands to play to pitch themselves. I think that would be cool for the pacific coast in general), as well as more female lead bands. I WILL SAY I LOVED THE MARIACHI METAL BANDS THIS YEAR!
Ive also seen alot of people bringing up stoner rock, what my gen-z ass is just gonna call divorced dad rock (arguably the best kind, though heavily bias) ska, new metal and honestly a bunch of new bands I hadnt even heard of, but definitely added to a list to list.
