Not to put this person on blast
But 3 whole pages of pets and almost all are for OPPP, yet in your bio in all caps “IM NOT OVERPAYING”. The rest I didn’t post was also OP OP. It should not be the expectation that for every single pet trade, a person will receive an op. It’s just not realistic, especially for mega mochi meow.
Reevaluate. self hypocrisy.
Genuinely, people want to get all the best trades for themselves and not give any good trades to any one else. Like of course people should aim to get the best for their pets, but at the same time, people should also be considerate that the same thought process is going through the other person’s mind. That same process should also lead to either two conclusions to a trade: a fair trade or a SLIGHT op.
Fair trades are slightly harder to do, in the sense that it’s hard to match pets values without going slightly over.
But here’s the thing, a slight op is not the issue at hand. Slight ops happen all the time, like being over by .1 or a few value points. But what these people are looking for aren’t slight ops, no they want high level ops.
I’m also not saying that high level ops are not okay by any standards. They do occur, and are normalized, when BOTH PARTIES are in agreement. Although it’s usually for high tier or high demand pets, it can still happen for other pets. In any case, It should not be a requirement from the get-go, or an assumption by trade profile, that automatically trading for a pet indicates that you must give an op for that pet. Like huh?
I had a scenario happen where I needed a fr bat and I had a ride potion that I was willing to trade for it. The person looked through my inv, and picked out a werewolf for the bat. I said no, but I said I could do a ride potion since that’s what they were lf. All of a sudden, the bat was no longer for trade.
It’s like to what extent are people meant to upgrade or get their lfs, if literally everyone is almost expecting an op. For that person, the fr bat was nft unless extreme op.
A bunch of posters in the last week have also posted about this, how hard it is to trade up from other pets because everyone wants ops. It’s almost impossible. Especially when the same people perpetuating these high op standards, are the same people demanding under pays for their pets. I personally have had the same experience, trying to trade up my alpaca and some adds for one good pet. Incredibly difficult. And even when you offer good or decent offers that are fair in value, they almost never get accepted.
Now some of this might sound ignorant, I’m way too tired to rewrite this and the state of trading is not going to change through a meager rant post anyways.
In any case, feel free to share your experiences, opinions, or other considerations.
