How much does it take to have him arrested on suspicion if we can’t do it on current depositions?

My apologies for using ChatGPT to help write this, but I don’t have a think tank:

Trump’s new press secretary has lots of Chinese ties, interestingly enough. As his administration restricts access for certain American news organizations, he brings in Katie Zacharia, whose professional history includes:

• Working for Zhong Lun Law Firm in Beijing (2011–2013), one of China’s largest corporate law firms, whose reported government clients have included:

  • People’s Bank of China — China’s central bank.
  • Ministry of Commerce — Oversees China’s domestic and international trade.
  • Ministry of Finance — Responsible for government finances and fiscal policy.
  • Ministry of Justice — Oversees aspects of China’s legal administration.
  • Ministry of Natural Resources — Manages land and natural resources.
  • Ministry of Ecology and Environment — Oversees environmental regulation.
  • Chinese state-owned enterprises — Businesses owned or controlled by the Chinese government.

• Working in international corporate law in Beijing, although which Chinese companies or government entities she personally represented remains unclear.

• Serving as fundraising and communications manager for Compassion for Migrant Children, a Beijing nonprofit that worked with Chinese government and education officials.

• Living in China while her husband worked for an American private-equity firm, whose Chinese business relationships have not been publicly established.

And here’s another interesting detail: despite her reported work as an attorney, questions remain about whether she ever passed a bar examination or was admitted to practice law.

None of this establishes wrongdoing or improper Chinese government influence. But it raises legitimate questions about her former clients, professional relationships, and potential conflicts of interest.

how tf did she get this job again?
