This one's focused on the upcoming election - the economy, the war, education, healthcare, etc. Less about Trump and more about what we can do to help return Texas and America back to places that help their citizens. Hi there! My name is Lyna Mansouri, I’m a journalist from Montreal and I will be in Abilene this week for a documentary on the town ahead of the midterm elections.

I’m looking to chat with young people 18-30 y/o in Abilene about the social and political landscape to get a better grasp of how things are. What is going on with the cost of flights on American from Abilene? I am looking 3-4 weeks out and most flights are $1000 or more. United is running $450. This is going to Kansas City or Las Vegas or Des Moines. I looked at Lubbock and San Angelo as well. American from those cities is running $500-700. It is ridiculous that suddenly American out of ABI is so high. And it cant be fuel prices if other airlines or airports are so much cheaper.

At this point, it is almost cheaper to drive to DFW and fly direct. I would just have much more expensive parking.

So today at work our systems were insanely slow. Unfortunately the IT guy is a dick and refuses to give any information on our ISP or how our systems work. But that’s beside the point. After speaking to other stores I. The same company but different towns our Abilene locations were the only locations having issues. Well through out the day multiple customers said their businesses were having issues with their systems as well. I visited my grand mother this evening and even her job was having issues. So I wondered if anyone else had issues with their POS and other systems today?

Here in Abilene with my wife. Moved here 6 months ago. Car got stolen. 2012 Kia Optima. Gray color. Live in a pretty decent area too.

Anyone have any ideas on next steps or what to do? If anyone also has any information let me know. This is our only car and I just want it back. I won’t file any charges either. Just help me out.
